I first ordered the black. I love how they fit. I am 5'4" and they are slightly above my ankle which is perfect for me. I find them flattering. I then ordered the bluish color. I returned those. The waist band does not match the fabric of the pant body and the tie and zipper pulls are black. It does not provide for as sleek of a look. Please note that if you will be sitting in the sun in these pants, you will be hot at least in the black color due to the material. I wish Baleaf would make these in white but with white zippers and ties. And I wish all of the colors had matching waist ties and zippers instead of just using black on all colors.

I have been trying to find some good lightweight joggers for a while. I have tried several types, styles and brands. These are perfect! I do not like leggings for the fact my legs just are not leggings material and I do not like the cling to my leg factor. These are lightweight, slimming with the thick waistband, comfortable and dry quickly. My only complaint is I wish I could find these without the leg pocket/zipper and just a little bit shorter to be true ankle fit for me.

I am 4'11", 150 lbs, with a 38" waist and 44" hips. The Large fits beautifully for me and the pants are very comfortable for hiking (and squatting). Moisture dries quickly. The waistband is snug but not binding. There is additional room for the waistband to stretch but it would somewhat depend on your sensitivity to pressure in that area. The band is 2 1/2" wide, and it slides easily over my hips. There is ample room in the thigh (my upper thigh is 23") but that is because I have to size up for my waist/hips. The stretchy cuffs fall right at my ankles. The five zippers side well and feel substantial. The two thigh pockets have zipper garages, and all zippers have a rubbery covering where the zipper pull joins the zipper. I carry everything in my daypack so have not used the pockets. All stitching, seams, and zipper reinforcing points seem very well done. I've washed/dried the pants twice and they came out perfectly. I bought one pair to test and will be buying more.

I was secretly hoping I wouldn’t like these due to the price point, which I think is a little steep for joggers. But, they have amazing stretch. I’m 5’4 130lbs. I wish they came in a petite. I liked where they hit on the model, unfortunately for me they went to the ankle nub. When walking they do tend to rise up higher on the lower leg, which is fine by me. They may also have abut of a twist when doing certain movements, but this is probably due to the stretch. I haven’t been able to experience them in the elements yet, but I’m sure they’ll be perfect for Ireland vacation. Cons: they zippers seem cheap and I’m not sure how long they’ll last, the waist band is think which I love, but did have the tendency to roll. But if I catch them on sale I’ll definitely order a second pair.

I love baleaf leggings, so I thought I’d give these a try too. They are smooth and moisture wicking as advertised, and I wore them comfortably hiking on a humid day in South Carolina. My only complaint is that they have some weird mid-thigh seams, which I guess are because of the extra pockets, that make my already sizable thighs look like trussed pot roasts. I was comfortable wearing them, and then when I looked at some pictures my husband snapped, I’d never felt fatter in my life. If you’re slimmer than me (size 16/18 and pear shaped), you’ll probably have no issues, but if, say, you’ve had 2 babies in the past 2 years & are still carrying a good bit of baby weight, these may not be your friend.
