Love the fact that these come in different inseams! I'm 5'2 and the petite length was perfect. I have a slim waist but larger hips so I tried both a small and medium. Medium was the better fit, so consider sizing up if you're between sizes and have a curvier hip/butt area. The medium was loose in the waist, but there is a functional drawstring. They were super comfortable and also very lightweight so great for warm weather, and they pack down small for travel. I wore them on a cooler day so layered a pair of thin leggings underneath for warmth. I've only worn them once, but they did a solid job of repelling light rain, and the zippered pockets were sturdy enough to hold onto my giant cell phone while riding a roller coaster. I already have these pants in the dark grey and love them. Got them almost two years ago and have worn them year round hiking except in hottest summer. Great deep zipper pockets safe enough for phone and safely holding keys without them falling out on the trail. The regular length is perfect for me (5'5") and the XL fits my bigger midsection and thinner legs, with the baggier legs maybe not the most flattering but great for hiking. They've held up well and are so comfy they've become my favorite errands and around town pants too (in Colorado where outdoor gear is everyday). They are 5 star so I wanted another pair. I liked the navy blue as it appears in the image here, but they arrived as true deep very dark navy vs the lighter dark blue advertised (3 star). I have a sheddy dog with a light colored coat and avoid black and colors close to black since they're just dog hair magnets. Reading the reviews it sounds like the blue color is luck of the draw with different dye lots? I'm ordering a replacement pair to see if I get the right color. Also trying the other pool and army green color to see how they look in person. Bottom line: fantastic hiking, travel, and casual pants (dark grey) but navy color in picture doesn't match what I got in the 29" length. ... show more

I bought three pairs and wore them everyday for a trip on the Amazon River. They are stylish, lightweight, breathable and comfortable. I was rained on a lot and these dried very quickly. I tried to spray them with permethrin to insect-proof them but, because they are water-resistant, it just flowed off the pants. They cinch at the ankles to prevent creeping bugs from getting up your legs on a jungle walk. They have tons of pockets. I strongly recommend them. ... show more

I absolutely LOVE these pants. I took them to on a trip to the Amazon last month - so comfortable, breathable in the heat and dried quickly when wet! I would wash them out in the sink in my room on the boat, roll in a towel, hang up and they would be dry in a few hours. They are stylish, with the little reflector strips and adjustable ties at the bottom of each pant leg. I always get lost of compliments! Bonus - these pants are flattering for us curvy girls! I found similar styles are too tight in the seat and then you get a "balloon effect" around the waist, which is not only uncomfortable but unflattering, as well. And they have so many zippered pockets - perfect for traveling! I really liked having my phone, passport, cash and room key, etc. securely stored on my person. These are my new favorite hiking, walking, sightseeing and athleisure pants - I'm getting them in every color. I am 5'7", curvy 160 pounds. I wear a size 12 in pants and purchased the Large. Like these pants overall. These are the second pair I've bought. They stay cool in the heat and dry quickly if they get wet. Only complaint is that this pair is kissing an aglet on the drawstring. Fixable, but they are brand new and the string is already frayed.

I had first order this brand in a plus size. I returned them because the 1X was too big. I am 6'3" and 160 lbs. The XL I received today fits perfectly. I love the fabric. It's very light. Wrinkles when I took it out of the package were minimal. A quick toss in the dryer with a damp towel worked well. My reason for ordering was for travel and particularly comfort on flights. The zippered pockets for passport, credit cards and cash make access easy with no worries about losing them to theft while traveling. I will order another pair in a different color. Wear them as hiking pants or during athletic activities, wear them out and around, hang around the house in them. They've got zippered pockets all over the place, which I really like.
