First of all, if you are debating on size, SIZE UP! My suggested size was a large, and I am so glad I went with XL - the XL was even borderline too tight around the booty area (and I have a SUPER flat, almost non-existent butt!). After the first wear, I was pleasantly surprised! I wore them for a hike on a very hot day, and I fully expected to be drenched in sweat. After we had sat and rested a bit at the lake, I stood up and audibly gasped "WOW" - they were SO breathable I could literally feel air movement all around my legs. Honestly I was shocked 😂 As far as durability goes, I haven't really had a good test yet, but there was slight discoloring/stretching when I put my phone in the smaller pocket, so I'm guessing they may rip easily if you take a tumble or run into a thorny plant. Also, someone commented that they didn't make any noise - that's just completely untrue. They are definitely much quieter than the awful low quality SWISH SWISH SWISH of the pants I wore in middle school gym - I wasn't bothered by the sound at all - but you definitely won't be sneaking up on anyone. All in all, I'd give them a 4.5/5 so far. Half a star off because the sizing is so off.

Review for the BALEAF Women's Hiking Pants Quick Dry Lightweight Water Resistant Elastic Waist Cargo Pants. Tight in waist and butt, but loose and saggy in front. (No, I did not have them on backwards! LOL) Seems the cut is more for a man in the waist and behind, but the legs are looser for a woman. I don't know anyone who likes or wants that baggy front look. I'll wear them for the pockets which are zippered and nicely large. Hard to find pants for women with useful pockets. The water resistance and quick drying are also good features. I paid $35.99 plus tax for these.

I bought these in 11/2022 and its not 8/23 and they are just now starting to look beat up. I wear these pants for hiking, spelunking and kayaking. To say they been put through the ringer would be an understatement. They've been snagged on rocks, thorns, and branches. I've slid down hillsides on my rear and nary a tear. Covered them with so much mud I've had to rinse them with the hose before throwing them in the washer. They also dry pretty quickly after wading through streams even being in a cave without sunlight and low temps. They are a great pant for the money and I will be buying more in the future.

Some reviews suggested sizing up but for me my usual size was perfect so glad I decided to stick with my own size. For reference I am 5'10.5" and 140lbs. It's hard to find pants that fit length wise but these hit right at the ankle making it perfect to wear with high rise hiking boots. And they are super soft and comfy, perfect for layering with leggings underneath or to wear on own. I bought these for the Iceland trip. Loved them (black) so much I immediately ordered another color (suntan).

I purchased these in an XL/27" length and for reference I wear a size 31/S (12) in Levi classic straight jeans. They fit really well and are the perfect length on my 5'4" body. The waist is a bit high, but easily rolls down. I haven't worn them yet in wet or drizzly weather, but bought them for an upcoming Alaskan cruise tour, though I can see myself wearing these at home. I'll wear these with a base layer when hiking. Hope they truly are water resistant.

I purchased these for excursions on an Alaskan cruise. I will recommend these all day! They are light weight, take up no space in a suitcase, had a few wrinkles that went away after a few minutes of wear. They are easy to wear "as is" on warm days and easy to add a thermal layer underneath for cool days. The zipper pockets are a HUGE win: they are not big and bulky but will hold an iPhone comfortably and safely. They held up well in hiking, zip-lining and a bit of rappelling.

I bought these as recommended for my trip into the jungles of Costa Rica and they were PERFECT!!!! Easy to pack, so lightweight, kept the mosquitoes away from my legs, dried quickly, had so many pockets, and I could hand wash them at the end of the day, hang them up and wear them the next day! If I bought 2 I would have only needed those for my entire trip! Fit was perfect as well! Super comfortable and durable as well!

Great for hiking. I can wear the pant leg to my ankle or shorten the pant leg to capri length when I get hot from hiking. They wash great and dry super quickly. I'm 5'7" and 116 pounds so I'm obviously high waisted and these are high waisted. The only thing about the design I don't like is the elastic on the waistband isn't covered with material but I can remedy that by tucking in my shirt.
