These leggings are the best! I work in the service industry at a beach resort in the spring and fall its chilly and these leggings are just perfect! the pockets are deep enough for me to keep my phone, pens, server pad, straws! you name it. I have had about 3 pair for 4 years now! they have worn extremely well, they're starting to show some fuzzies around the seams but I mean for being 4 yrs. old, they owe me nothing! I am a little on the larger size and have found leggings very annoying, especially in the crotch area! not these they don't accentuate that area and they DO NOT ride up my behind! I can't praise these enough, I will not buy another brand! I like them so much I don't even try any others anymore! I have about 4 pairs of the shorts as well and love them equally! ... show more

  • Excellent yoga pants that work as leggings for wearing under a skirt.
Wow these are great yoga pants. The waistband is wide and stretchy so there is no pinching of the tummy. I have grown so sick of anything pinchy in the tummy that I now refuse to wear anything that isn’t really super comfortable and have given away any item of clothing that isn’t perfectly comfortable. Life is too short for creepy tight or uncomfortable clothes. The design of these pants is excellent because the high waste helps hold your muffin in the right place. Designed with correct “tilt” in pelvis, (angle of the femur from the ball joint socket in the pelvis is a different angle for women than it is for men) shows a lot of expertise went into this design. As a physician in middle age, I look for outfits I can put together without a lot of effort that will feel comfortable all day and still look correct from a fashion standpoint. I like wearing dresses and skirts because they give me a freer movement than pants, however bare legs don’t work (friction and not enough coverage when sitting in a conference style seat across from anyone who should not catch anything like a peek under that skirt - sends way the wrong message). Because of the boa constrictor factor, all pantyhose are out of the question. This product works as a type of “legging” I can wear under a skirt or dress. These provide just enough coverage and friction control without strangulation, just enough jiggle management without the cumbersome boxy feeling of pants. They don’t get hot or itchy and there is no bulky zipper or buttons like you would have in pants. I don’t generally think of my back side as my best “assert” and I think it’s rather unprofessional to wear anything like leggings with the exposed booty curves available for inspection at work. It is my job to examine patients, not to be examined by them. So in a skirt or a dress, wearing these I can get appropriate coverage without the binding bullones of pants, I can still move around comfortably. No need to worry about giving a free show while seated across from someone in the workplace. Bayleaf has nice colors that look good with existing outfits I already own. Plus they work great as yoga pants too. I will never wear cheap low rise slippage prone yoga pants again. These are a really nice product. Will buy the Bayleaf brand in the future. The size range and colors as well as choice of regular ankle length or capris give you a lot of choice. Well worth the money. These are really not expensive for what you get. I’ve purchased about half a dozen pairs so far. They are super versatile and can really expand a wardrobe to take you from summer to winter by providing a skin-covering layer that will let me keep wearing skirts and dresses even when it it starts to get chilly. But they are not too hot and somehow, the skin can still breathe, even though the fabric is think enough to prevent visible butt crack exposure in a yoga class for the self conscious cat cow girl. I bought them initially to use as yoga pants but found they expand the range of my existing wardrobe dramatically. Covering the legs at work indoors without overheating, but making the transition from summer into fall and winter is great. Season spanning items like these pants save money and time, letting you wear summer clothes past the time you would otherwise have to pack them up. These add versatility. And they are much better designed than other yoga pants. I’m planning to buy more pairs in more colors. ... show more

  • 6'2" 205 lb, size 14. Ordered XL | Great First Impression - Wore Down More Quickly than Expected
Fit Type: 1.0 Size: X-Large Color: Black
Straight out of the package, they looked tiny and I was concerned. But they went on really easily. I moved around and they didn't slip. I don't know how they would hold up to a work-out, but I don't think I'll have to jerk them up throughout my normal cozy day. They aren't "buttery soft" or the kind of compression material that slides down a lot. Nothing stupendously comfortable about the fabric, but no complaints either. They're actually a little thinner than my Old Navy compression leggings that I got a year or two ago, but I prefer that. I think it'll help them move with me better. On to the sheerness test! The photo of just my legs is what really concerned me. It looks like you might be able to see straight to my skin. But 1) I was sitting in a position that highlighted it, 2) I was in lighting that emphasized it, 3) it looks worse on camera than in real life, and 4) I just couldn't see my underwear through them. (See my update below. After 2 months, they were see-through) That's right, ladies and gents! I wear some pretty baller underwear (aerie boybrief sunnies). They aren't perfect in the no-show department, but they're pretty good and keeping to themselves (and they feel like angel kisses). I do have several leggings that still show a slight pantyline with them, but I bent and twisted and just didn't see it in these. I even bent as drastically as I could, more than I ever would in real life. That time, my husband said he could see a pantyline, but he couldn't see the color of the underwear, so I call that a win! I'll update later of any issues pop up after wears and washes, but, as of now, I say go for it! Update: I've had them for 2 months and they are now see-through. I had them on over yellow fleece-line leggings yesterday and I could definitely see the other leggings through them in tighter areas (like around my knee). I am a thick girl and I did wear them regularly, so I give them credit. I wore them about 2-4 times a week and washed them after ever 2-3 wears. I may have dried them once, accidentally, but usually air-dried. I probably washed them about 10 times, give or take. How long should we expect our leggings to stay opaque? The pilling in the thighs isn't significantly worse than a month ago. Definitely there. I'll continue to wear them over darker fleece-lined leggings, mostly because the compression holds in my jiggle and they can withstand my puppies' paws better than other fabric. Previous Update (After a month): I've worn these several times now. I say you have about two days of normal activities (I wore them under other leggings at work or alone around town) before they stretch enough that you'll find yourself pulling them up from time to time. And it does look like the legs are slightly more transparent after a wash or two, but the butt still seems alright. There is some pilling in the thighs (as you can tell from the photos, they do rub together a lot). I knocked it down one star just because I think they should hold up a little better for a little longer, but they're still my favorite leggings that I have. Full disclosure: I am a little nervous about the transparency and pilling spreading. I guess I'll update again if it happens ... show more
