Makes a huge difference when trolling. Have never had a boat with recessed tray before but been in a few. Had to get my boat set up. My only problem was I have a compartment right were tray needs to be. So I came up with a setup that gives me both. As far as the tray goes it's top quality. No issues there. Good template to install, etc. I wasn't able to screw mine down as designed but it still works great. Comfort level is way up there compared to before. Ordered this because my back and I were done doing the Captain Morgan stance while fishing. The product came fast in the mail and was easy to install. The template that they include is great. Cutting the boat with the sawzall was heart breaking but the finished product looks amazing.
