Because this is a balancing toy, kids drop it and the wings can split open easily. Inside the wings are two lead weights. They could have easily been steel or some other metal but they are lead. We glued our back together, but the minute my daughter forgets about it I’m disappearing it into the trash. The manufacturer should be ashamed. ... show more

I purchased one of these for my niece, as a small gift. I used to love them as a kid. However, in the package, the item was clearly already well loved... It has scuff marks covering the back of it, and pieces of paint chipped off. It also had sharp plastic hanging off one of the wings. We filed it down so it was safe, but this is definitely not a brand new toy...Disappointed =/ ... show more

Did not come with the little stand to hold the balancing bird. Disappointing , but looks like I read it wrong, I guess. In any event , what is the point if not sending a little piece of plastic stand with this.
