I know, I know, this isn't exactly what this product was intended for, but it's PERFECT for our needs! Our son has autism and ADHD and ALLLLLLL the energy and sensory needs that come along with them. And yes, we have a full size trampoline, but when weather isn't ideal for being outdoors, the indoor mini tramp and this plyobox are an absolute life saver! He is able to jump first thing in the morning before school and in the evening before bath and any time he needs a little jumping stimulation or energy release. The combo has been magical and his behavior is vastly improved since providing him with a little indoor jumping outlet that is safer than jumping off our piano into a pile of pillows like he used to do, or off of the stairs onto the trampoline. I love that the box has 3 different heights to choose from. It's extremely sturdy while being incredibly light weight, which is great because he can move it around on his own. The vinyl fabric of the zip cover is not only very grippy for our hardwood and porcelain tile floors, but it's easy to wipe clean when needed. It's also compact enough to be easily stored in a closet when we need it out of the way. I know we haven't used it as it was intended to be use, but I can tell you this; if it's sturdy enough for our boy who uses it for hours a day, it will work great for you to practice your box jumps in your home gym. I feel very secure letting him jump and climb and play all over it. Great product at a fair price! And yes, I paid full price for this! I sincerely hope this review has been helpful! I love this jump box. I use it for multiple exercises and it holds my weight very well. I weight 120lb but it feels like it could hold more weight. Nice quality.

I've been using it as a jumping block for exercise and it's a great peice of equipment for that. We also use it for squatting with one leg. My kids use it as a play table when we're in the gym together...so many uses

We bought this during Covid for the gym we are setting up in our garage. It is a great addition and activity for all of us, especially our teens. This is their go-to activity. The older teens of course want to use the 30” side. The younger teen is unsure, but is using the 20” side to step up and I can already see that she will build her confidence with time. I like that the box is light and easy to move around. I read the reviews and was concerned about the sturdiness of the box. It is definitely stable and sturdy for the 20” and 24” heights. I am 5’4” and my boyfriend is 6’0” and we have no issues. I can see why some of reviews talked about the stability of the jump box, but that would only be at the 30” and if you’re not physically ready for that height. The teens jump the 30” (easily and) without the box tipping. Love the different heights, great quality for price, had a new smell which went away after the first day, like having this activity to motivate and provide variety in our gym, and helping all of us to become more fit. Glad I bought this!

It works as a box jump comfortably at 24 inches even when fatigued. I haven't tried the stability of it at 30 inches on a workout and when fatigued. It does slide little by little, a couple inches , w/ every 10 jumps or so on rubber horse stall mats. It's light, so it can be easily moved around the gym that even someone that is new to a workout and isn't strong can move it around without being cumbersome. But also, don't sit on it and start leaning back a little because the box will fall over with you sitting on it. I did this messing around trying to do a situp while on the box at 24 inch height. I've only had it for a month, so I'm not sure how the foam padding will hold up after a year. I have a sense if I keep landing on the same area on the box jumps that it will eventually break in and leave indents where the feet typically may land. And I don't know if the 2 year warranty covers that kind of usage. But we'll see. Overall, given the price, the few times I have used it so far, relative light weight, it gets the job done.

Quality is good and it’s firm enough when you stand on it. My intended use was for using the 16in height as a bench or for step ups etc. Currently 175lbs and pregnant. I rarely use the other heights. But I will warn if you get the light weight box it is not intended for box jumps. Especially at the 24in height it’s very unstable for ballistic movements as the surface area at the tallest height is 16x20. I could literally tip it over with one finger. If you’re wanting to use this for jumps get the weighted box! If you’re just using it as a makeshift bench for split squats/step ups or whatever it’s totally fine.

This foam plyometric box is a great option for explosive vertical training when safety is a consideration. This box is versatile due to its varying heights that are compatible for anyone ranging from the casual person to the athlete. Dispel any misgivings about the foamed structural material of this box; the foam is very stable and provides ample relief for the knees so as to prevent joint pain commonly deriving from plyometric training. The box although bulky is lightweight and easy to carry around. If you’re looking for a box to train your explosiveness or even stretch upon, don’t settle for a box that might hurt your knees—especially if you’re a young athlete who’s still growing. All in all, this foam plyometric box is the perfect workout box due to its efficient capabilities and safely measured design. My only gripe about the product is that it is initially counterintuitive to use, but later becomes fine.
