  • Love these
Style: Multi-Grip Handles For Home Gym
These are way cheaper than main brands and the quality is just as good. I couldn’t bring myself to pay the much larger price for gym brands and came across these. I was buying them figuring they wouldn’t be as nice but hoping for decent. When they came I was totally satisfied with this purchase. And so glad I didn’t waste money for a name brand. These are very nice cable attachments. ... show more

  • beyond worth the money. Improved back day and alleviated tendonitis
Style: Multi-Grip Handles For Home Gym
So I don’t ever write reviews but I feel like I owe it to anyone considering buying these to let them know my experience. I've been a consistent gym goer bodybuilder for 20 years. Not a casual lifter by any stretch and am very experienced with various equipment and training. I've seen people use these style attachments in the gym before but had never tried them. I came across these generic ones on Amazon and since building a home gym decided for the price why not add them to arsenal. First off - the quality beyond exceeded my expectations. The grippy rubberized coating is so heavy duty feeling that I can't imagine it'll ever be an issue for my one person use. I'd put these in a commercial gym in a heartbeat tbh. The ergonomics of them are just unreal. Back work is one of those things that trainees can sometimes have a hard time 'feeling' work. Man do these grips really engage the back to a degree you can feel. What furthermore is just how much they remove the delts, biceps, and forearms from the work. Ive been using these for 3 weeks and every back day I'm amazed by just how freaking hard I can smash my sets, but still feel like I have more volume in me - and its clearly because most other back work is fatiguing my ancillary muscles before my back itself (notably forearms). Whats more is for the last 8 months of been battling and nursing medial epicondylitus (golfers elbow). It initially required a few months of very light workout just to improve. I since had been training with straps on all pull exercises to alleviate some of the strain on it - which helped but it hasn't gotten completely better in the last 6 months either. With these grips my tendonitis is not only not bothered - but its actually improving. Back day is currently my favorite workout in my rotation just because of how productive they've been. If you're considering these, I wouldn't hesitate. Well worth the money. Also its worth noting that I'm a bit of a diva and don't believe in ultra wide back work for shoulder health. I dont use the top two wider pulldown attachments only the 22" smaller one and the close clip attachment on the bottom. Other people may be more comfortable using those specific attachments but even if you're not - for the price these cost just adding 2 to my workout (22" pulldowns and the the bottom attachment on low cable rows) has been well worth the money. Shameless plug that if you want proof this is a legit review follow my instagram and see I'm no novice to back work @rypkr937 ... show more

  • Amazing home workout machine!!
Style: Mode RS80
The media could not be loaded. Despite the few negative reviews, the product took me about 3.5 hours to put together. The main complaint is about how it comes with missing parts not true at all!! The parts box is boxed with 2 boxes, I love it! The pin locks in place with no issues whatsoever definitely worth the money for a home gym i would recommend gym owners to buy a few for their gym! ... show more

  • Fair system.. especially for the price point.
Style: Model 900
I decided to get my own system as opposed to continuing my gym membership- because it's a 40 minute round trip to use their facility (and they're the closest one at a reasonable rate.). This is the LX900. First, the delivery. As I ordered it, I was asked to select a preferable delivery date. I don't know why because delivery was handled by a 3rd party freight carrier, and I had to call Amazon to arrange such- when it didn't arrive, nor did I receive any call to arrange delivery, on my stated date of preference. Then it took an additional week to arrive. 13 days total- after ordering. I constructed it myself. It wasn't too difficult to manage- even without line item instructions in the manual- just simple drawings.. and the fact that I have Cerebral Palsy that impacts the neural transponders between my brain and the nerve endings in the muscles on the right side of my body.. ultimately meaning I can't grip anything effectively with my right hand. Using a little creativity, and a lot of patience- I managed, and having used it a couple times.. I can attest that it's securely constructed. I did notice a couple design flaws. As pictured (disregard the towels and throw rug covering the seats and cushions- we have cats that like to claw vinyl). One issue is the pin mechanism that locks the arm/back rest that would be used for lat pulldowns and/or preacher's curls. The pin, possible because it's rounded- wouldn't hold the arm/back rest secure- and could result in injury. I left it out, and I am currently using a bolt to hold it in place when needed. Not to mention that the height settings for the pad are not conducive to proper form when doing preacher's curls.. they're too low- even for someone of a shorter stature. The second, may not be a design flaw if you have a larger room to set this unit up in. The room I have it in is 14' wide. No one, not even someone short like me (at 5'3") could use either the leg raise/abdominal stretch bench apparatus and the raised push up apparatus in the same workout in such a room- without having to move the entire unit from side to side.. all 470 lbs. of it. So, I modified the design by switching one of the shorter supports from one side to the other- allowing me to have both apparatuses on one side- allowing me to place it closer to one wall, and giving me the room necessary (also pictured). The last issue that I've experienced, and it's a physics issue- is either that the set up (and number) of the pulleys creates considerable added resistance and/or friction, and thus more force necessary to move the chosen weight.. so you're, in effect, pushing or pulling more weight than you should be (exponentially more)- or I may have faltered in my construction and tightened the nuts, on the bolts that run through (and hold) the pulleys, too much- and that's causing the added friction. I'll have try loosening them a hair, and see if that lessens the friction/resistance without compromising the integrity of the pulleys. I did also find it necessary to order additional handles, grips, and bars to increase the number of exercises I'd be able to do.. especially to replace the one used with preacher's curls (not a bar you want to do those with).. and different carabiniers to use with the alternative bars, etc al.. since they're too wide for the ones that came with the unit. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase- but I do wonder if choosing one at a higher price point would have been a wiser investment. I'll be able to make due, and see decent gains toward my goals with this one though.. and as a certified personal trainer- so should you.. if you're newer to the strength training game. ... show more
