I bought this hammock and honestly I was skeptical. But I have had it for 4 plus months now and I love it. If your looking for a portable hammock that doesn’t cost as much as the more expensive ones. It works great, I often fall asleep in it. The only thing I would say is it lacks in the sturdiness, I weigh about 160 lbs and it holds me fine but I feel anyone heavier it would not be the best option. This is also great for kids. My two daughters are 6 and 8 and they keep asking for me to buy another one for them. Everyone loves this thing. You can keep it together or unfold it and put it away. It is rather easy putting together and using. I hope you consider buying this hammock. It’s done good for me thus far.

This thing is significantly cheaper than most stands out there. I purchased via Amazon warehouse, so it was around $35-$42. If you plan on buying new, skip to next paragraph. If you plan on buying via warehouse, expect to have to return this a few times (& if it's right the first time, wahoo!). Didn't come with bolts the first time, the pipes were already rusted twice, sent the wrong color, etc etc. Set-up was a 10 minute ordeal. Although, if these come dinged up some, it may make it really challenging to couple the pipes & cause some paint scratching. The hammock is challenging to put on the hooks (you have to use the highest setting at first), but after stretching you can move the hooks down a notch. With the hammock taut, you have enough clearance to not hit the bar (or just barely brush it) if you are distributing your weight appropriately. The stand isn't sealed - it has numerous holes (that aren't always lined up perfectly- aesthetic issue) - & seems prone to rust & eventually collapse. I don't expect this thing to last for years, but will get some use before that fateful day. I would not plan on leaving it outside. Hammock & stand are fairly light & you can pick it up from the middle of the bottom bar to transport it, with some minor balancing required. It definitely takes up some space, so you should plan on that (or taking it apart every time, which seems like an annoyance as well). The product itself we've used for a few (3) months now, getting in an hour or 2 every week or so. It holds me & my little one (~240 lbs), as well as some books, drinks, & snacks (# varies widely based on how many books the little one is trying to read). All-in-all, I have regrets, but seems like a decent investment for a few years of relaxation.

I looked how is it is to put together and take apart when needed. I don’t like that after being put back together a second time it now makes a loud noise when you’re sway back and forth in it. I took it apart again and switched the parts around thinking maybe that would help but so far hasn’t

Bought it on 6-17-22, for a camping trip. Unfortunately, the directions were not included. I used the photos on this site to assist me in the very quick and easy set-up. Plus side, it came with extra hardware. Downside, the travel bag is very thin vinyl. Not sure how long the bag will last. Also, I chose the fabric with the pink in it. The color was off...a lot. No pink. The hammock was very comfortable although the more it was used the more it stretched out. I had to keep adjusting the hooks.

There were no directions, but it was relatively easy to figure out. It was supposed to be rainbow, but it's obviously not from the picture. It works as a hammock and stand and is a great place to read and relax after a busy day. And I laughed at myself when I managed to fall out of it trying to get in it I haven't looked at the bag to determine if it's even feasible or it's like the tent or sleeping bag that may or may not fit in the storage bag. Maybe that's where the directions are?

First off, I weigh 286lbs. So you can understand my lower expectations. I just spent the whole afternoon in something I should have bought years ago! The frame goes together with 4 large knobs, great if you don't have that precision dexterity. Then two hooks face outside the frame to hold the hammock. The hammock itself isn't the softest or best hammock ever but for the price it's perfect. It's not scratchy or anything. The hammock will stretch. I set the hooks for the highest setting as that's the furthest I could stretch it, sat down, stretched, and then moved the hooks down another notch. I ended up on notch 3. If the hammock stretches over time there are more notches so I will be able to continue using it. Honestly it feels like this could last several seasons if cared for. If you leave it out consistently in the rain/rust you'll probably only get 1 or 2. The only flaw is one of the threads was cross threaded. We were able to force it down far enough that it feels secure enough. I'm not sure if I caused it but I do feel it came that way. The rest of the holes twisted in very easily!

Easy to assemble! The first one took me about 20 minutes to assemble on my own. The second one was faster because I had already made one. The color of the hammock is beautiful & it is very sturdy. I am a rather large person & it holds my 200 lbs without a problem. My 13 y/o kid regularly moves one of them around the yard on his own to try in different areas of shade or sun. They are a little awkward to move as the base wants o tip upside down with only one person moving it, but it’s not heavy & it’s not hard to move on your own. I have taken 1 star off because when taking the parts out of the box for the 2nd one I ordered, the base poles had some rust at the welded areas. I took it apart a week after I put it up & sprayed with black matte rustoleum spray paint that I had on hand. It covered nicely & should stop the rust, or at least delay it for a few years.
