Several years back we got a different brand of cover. Then we decided to get the same brand for our dually. Well, it blew off. Apparently it only connects in the front and in the back, no intermediate connections. I asked around and was suggested BakFlip. We put that on and wow. So, when we got a new truck this year the first thing ordered was a BakFlip Mx4. Now, it wasn't the easiest thing to put on but maybe we were being very exact. The rails in the standard bed have 3 places on each side that are clamped to the truck bed. They are not going anywhere. In our case, when the install was done we had one place that had about a quarter inch rise in it. We broke it back down (easy to do that) and found out that the rail was not pushed down when we tightened the clamp. So we loosened the clamp, pushed the rail down and locked it back in. It is now perfectly installed. The one thing I like is that is low profile. You actually have to be above it to really notice there is a tonneau on the truck. And it is sturdy, it'll hold up to 400 lbs of distributed weight on the cover. Doubt I'll ever try that but it is good to know. I'm ready to take a trip in the truck now. ... show more

I bought this for me 2024 GMC Sierra HD. The install is straightforward, but because of the design of my truck bed, I could it get the brackets for the rail as close to the tailgate as the instructions specified. Because of this, the rail has too much play at the end and the slam latches don’t work. When I close the last panel, I have to manually squeeze each side to engage the latch. Also, I don’t know if it’s related to the above, but it is not very water tight and a good amount of water leaks in from the sides. Overall I like it, though. I like that I can lift it up to allow full access to the bed (my previous tonneau covers didn’t allow that without removing the whole thing), and I like that it is solid and sturdy. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Would have loved this bed cover. The finish is awesome and it lays very flat unlike others I have had in the past. The install was fairly simple other than you don't get paper instructions anymore and have to watch a video on YouTube for install. For the money they really should finish installing the clips for tie-downs. And the crappy foam blocks they give you to lean the cover against the cab suck! Mine also came missing parts and will not fully secure and is easily broken into. This is my 8th bed cover I have purchased and installed and they have more than doubled in price and cut quality in half. BAK customer service is even worse!! Rude inconsiderate and insanely hard to get in touch with. Update - I can break into these tonneau covers in under 10 seconds with no tools and no noise. Extra $50 of parts and this is a 10 star cover. Don't keep any expensive tools underneath!!!!! ... show more

I love this cover for my truck. I debated on what to get and this one is perfect. It was fairly easy to install myself and I am what I would call moderately handy. I installed it just before a beach trip and it did exactly what I needed it to do. I love how it has more than the standard 3 flips and I love how it locks itself into place. If I had one suggestion it would be to have some sort of funnel type end for the drain pipes to go into the drain holes in the bed of the truck. Without that, the water still drains into the bed. Although it is a minimal amount, the goal is to keep water out of the bed. I will have to figure out something to make this work the way I want, but otherwise, loving this bed cover so far. ... show more

I am really happy with this cover. I installed a few weeks ago just before a trip. It has seen snow, rain and ice and worked great. Others mention some leakage but so far I have not had that. Took me an hour or two to install. Watch a video first. I also like the security of the cover and the way it folds. You can open partially or all the way. I agree the clips that hold the rods you use to keep the cover fully open are plastic and could break. Also, the weather strip that goes on the bed near the cab does not stick real well. I think these are minor issues and I would buy again. I used this cover on a new 2022 GMC 2500 AT4 with a standard bed and multi-pro tailgate. Fits perfect and no drilling required. ... show more
