This is my first time trying BAi embroidery thread, and I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised! It fed through my home embroidery machine, a Janome MC9850, without any issues. So far, I have not encountered any thread breakage, tangles, or lint buildup. The colors are vibrant with a lustrous sheen—they look so nice on my finished embroidery and are silky to the touch. The large spools will last me a while, and I can't believe such a great set of 15 colors only cost $45. A bargain!

I'm using this embroidery thread on a Bernina 790 embroidery-only machine. I have thus far had no difficulties with it. I am primarily using it for satin stitching and some stem stitching for outlines. There's a decent variety of colors here for a starter kit, and they look good next to each other. I have not noticed any thread stretching or breakage. I've attached a photo of a test embroidery I did with the thread. It has a little puckering off to one side because it wasn't sufficiently stabilized, but you can see that the thread looks great and has filled in evenly.

Okay, I sew a lot and embroider quite a bit. A lot of thread runs through my machines. And this thread was pretty good. The yarn quality was top notch. The colors are vibrant and really very pretty. The 'cone' size is pretty nice as well. And there is a heck of a lot of thread per cone. They worked very well with my machines, and fit well on my thread stands. There was very little breakage and it flowed easily through the hooks of the stands. And they are a great value for the money. Buying these individually would cost you easily up to 50% or even 75% more.

This is a great selection of base colors that anyone doing a lot of embroidery will appreciate. I prefer the larger cones for my most-used colors, and the smaller collection does not disappoint. The colors are vibrant, the thread is durable, and you get a large quantity of thread for not a lot of money. Anyone doing embroidery knows that spools run out quickly for your base colors, and you just can't beat the value and color selection in this package. I have an older embroidery machine, and it is sometimes finicky with cheaper threads, but I haven't had a single thread break using this thread over the last month. It's as close to perfect as I could find and easy on the wallet to boot. I highly recommend this product.
