Pattern: Blue Dot Without a doubt, I love my polka-dotted red, white, and blue umbrella. I bought it for myself for my birthday. There have been two problems, however. First, we haven't had rain since early June. The good news is that it has recently started raining again in our area. The second problem is more complicated. I am handicapped, and I've found that this umbrella is heavier than my last umbrella. It is also more unwieldy to carry. On the other hand, not having to struggle to close the umbrella is a decided plus. This product is a reverse-folding umbrella. I also noticed that I do not need to struggle with high winds. The mechanism is stable, and the wind does not turn my umbrella inside out.

I have been looking for a good umbrella forever. Where I live, when it rains, it rains hard, and this is the perfect size for one person, maybe even two if you squeeze a bit. It works great for me on campus because it's large enough to cover my backpack as well. The C-shaped design on the end makes it really easy to hold, and you can even use your phone with both hands if you put your wrist through the loop, and balance the umbrella on your shoulder, although this is kind of hard to do when you're walking. The C-shape is also useful for when I don't need my umbrella, I can hook it onto one of my backpack straps and then both my hands are free. Another thing I really love is that when it folds down, it sort of "inverts" so that the wet part is on the inside, and it can also stand up by itself. So if it's been raining hard and I get to class, I don't have this soaked umbrella that's dripping everywhere. I can just close it, stand it up, and it will dry pretty quickly on its own! I also got the cloud pattern which is super pretty. I love to use this thing, it has even made me look forward to when it rains so that I get to use it :) It is pretty big though, so if you're looking for a small umbrella that folds up really compact, this is not for you. What it lacks in compact size, though, I feel it makes up for in a lot of other respects. I've been through a lot of umbrellas while trying to find the perfect one, and I think this is it. It's also super sturdy, whereas I've had many other umbrellas that have broken from use or wind, this one is still going strong.
