I've played three full rounds with the Volt so far, and it's been a great experience. I’m consistently getting through 18 holes on a single charge and has plenty of power to spare. My home course has a lot of elevation changes, and the Volt handles the inclines and declines really well. The rear stabilizer wheel makes a noticeable difference on steeper slopes. It's been smooth, reliable, and a big upgrade from walking with a standard push cart.

There are a lot of very desirable features with this cart. The size and weight of both the battery and the cart is outstanding. The button to disengage the wheels is great. However there are several things that are a bit annoying. No place to put score card. The umbrella holder is very inadequate. But the biggest issues are the tread on the tires is not enough to stop the wheels from spinning, and therefore not turning, and the balance. On one game the cart fell over five times. I am forced to hold on to the cart almost every time any kind of incline is encountered.

There are great things about this cart like it folds up small, the battery is easy access and light. The problem comes with performance. The wheels are too narrow and the tend to lose traction and spin. It turns over easily. The other strange feature is that it steers by breaking the opposite wheel and if it is on a slight side hill it will fight you. It has convenient bag storage on the handle but has the most unusable scorecard holder that is on the inside where there is not room for the card. I loved my Bagboy push cart but the transformation to an electric card missed the mark. I am returning it.

The unit was delivered in a box that was not the original manufacturer’s, and the remote was missing. After a couple phone calls we got it resolved, but it became clear that they sold me a floor model without 1) informing me that it was a floor model, and 2) any kind of discount (because it was essentially “used”). Product seems to work fine (used for one round so far), but the display came scratched (minor), and the lower left corner has a small crack (see photo). I would not do business with this reseller again, but I would buy another BagBoy product (from a different golf shop, probably local). 4 stars for the product, zero for the reseller.

I bought the Bag Boy after a ton of research. I was so impressed I bought a second one for my wife. Nearly every other one I looked at was too heavy to lift. I am 65 years old and in good shape but most of the other electric carts were not really practical to lift into the car. This one folds down smaller than my old Bag Boy walking cart and is almost as light. The battery design is super clean. Fits right at the bottom of the frame and creates a lower center of gravity for hills. I found no problem with climbing hills or sidehill traveling. Battery has 3 bars left after 18 holes. Really great design and very well made. A little expensive but worth it. I play 5 days a week and it has really improved my enjoyment of the game. I love walking and now am much less fatigued late in the round and afterwards.
