    • THEY CAN'T GET THEIR LICENSE TO IMPRINT ON THE SOFTWARE

The product and the software is fine. Once you get the knack of how to create a card, it's not too difficult to use. The creating a template (database) is not so easy, but doable. The real problem is with the license number. I've had to call Tech Support EVERY SINGLE TIME I'VE TRIED TO USE THE SYSTEM!!! The techs are nice and get it working, but say there's no way to imprint the license into the software. They acknowledge the problem but say they have no fix. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE TO CALL EVERY TIME YOU USE IT!! And without after hour and weekend support, that is not only inconvenient, but unacceptable... ... show more

Furthermore we were impressed with the overall quality, ease of installation and usage, and the software all included. We use the badgy 200 for school staff badges. Easy to use and create badges. My computer crashed and I lost some of my files. I called support and was very very impressed with the response time and the time it took to get it back up. I talked to Angelo, he was very polite and knowledgeable about the product and software. I have used the product to print lanyards for a small event that we have 2-3x/year and it works great. Some of the cards don't print perfectly, but it works for what we need. It's really easy to use and I like having access to print at home versus sourcing it elsewhere.

I have made multiple calls to Evolis for the past 3 workdays since 9/06/2019 to get help with our Badgy 200. I cannot get a human on the phone. It always goes to voicemail. I have left multiple messages with my details and no one has called back to help resolve my issues. The printer will not print correctly and it is having issues reading its own print ribbon that came with it. I contacted Bodno, and they will not fix or replace the item that was purchased until I get a work number from Evolis... The company that will not return my calls! This has been very frustrating for our company. The only help that we received was with the Amazon help center. They did as much troubleshooting with us as they could, but we could not figure out what the issue was. They gave us all the contact information for Bodno and Evolis. They even tried calling Evolis for us to get tech support and were unable to reach anyone. And of course, during all this, our return window has passed. I would suggest buying a different product with a different company. ... show more
