    • Printer works but support is a joke

I went back and forth on whether or not to get the Bronze or Silver software. The difference is about $250 if you purchase on amazon. Without any ability to demo the product you are left guessing on the features and if they will be what you need. I went with the Bronze software and after using it decided I needed the Silver to be able to import CSV files. Their internal database software is very cumbersome and hard to use. You must build each column and data set 1 by 1. No ability to tab through or copy paste data base entries ect. When I decided to upgrade the price looked to be $400 which was odd because the difference on Amazon was only $250. When I talked to their customer service about the price difference they said "you should have bought it through us then we might be able to help you". I BOUGHT IT THROUGH THEIR AMAZON STORE!! I'm already a customer. I purchased their product and now they are jacking up the price on me. The person at customer service for BONDO was the rudest person I have ever talked to in customer service from the get go. Sierra was un willing to even see how odd this was and basically said "tough luck" and escalated to a supervisor who "might" call me back. If there is ANY other software that you can get for this printer I suggest using that. BONDO is a terrible company and has TERRIBLE Customer service. ... show more

    • Inexpensive badge printer does a great job
We purchased the Badgy 200 to print ID cards for new employees. We provide home healthcare to seniors and it is important for our badges to be easy to recognize and read. The Badgy does both for us very well. We only print 5-7 cards per week, so we don't need a high volume printer and this only takes minutes to print. We are very happy with the resolution, color, and clarity. The software is easy to use and we are able to use photos taken from a webcam, cellphone, or taken from social media sources. It is a very simple process. As for support, we had a problem with our PC not recognizing the printer when we first installed. We contacted technical support and they got back to us within 12 hours and fixed the issue very quickly. This is much better customer service than I've had with other tech companies. We are very happy with our purchase and highly recommend this to others. ... show more

We use the badgy 200 for school staff badges. Easy to use and create badges. My computer crashed and I lost some of my files. I called support and was very very impressed with the response time and the time it took to get it back up. I talked to Angelo, he was very polite and knowledgeable about the product and software.     • A pain to set up but works well once you figure it out

The drivers for this printer are excessively difficult to install, and the errors you get during printing are more vague than a Picasso piece. The worst part was dealing with the ink ribbon which ... lets be honest ... no printer built after 2000 should be using ribbon ink anymore. The only thing I can say for certain is that the image-editing software for the badge printer works as expected and the print quality is good. I strongly advise getting better supported printers though. To actually "calibrate" the ink ribbon sensor required finding an extremely obscure debugging-command line with horrendously obscure command syntax. Literally the worst, least user-friendly printer software I have ever seen. At least it has worked well ever since and I have not had to touch it. ... show more

    • Printer is great. Camera is not.
After 2 1/2 months of having this, I’ve still yet to use it. I’ve printed trial ones, but it’s straight from my laptop. webcam that it came with will not connect to my laptop. Software is great, but I need the webcam for ID pictures. After weeks of talking to customer service multiple times, they told me to buy a new webcam or DSLR to use. They came tell me anything about drivers when I don’t know a thing about them and Google isn’t helping. Customer service is HORRIBLE. Not worth it if you are like me and know nothing about using them. Customer service can’t help me, but I’ve been talking to them for so long that I can’t return it. Unless you 100% know how to use this, don’t buy it. It’s not worth it. ... show more

I love our little Badgy 200. We used to outsource making ID's and this has saved us a lot of time and money. Printed almost 300 ID's with no problem. Was a little difficult to set up and the software is pretty clunky, but once you get a hang of it, the thing is awesome. I also had to contact customer service with a tech issue and the guy I spoke to was amazing. Walked me through the whole thing and made sure I could print before he got off the phone. ... show more
