Description

Badger Air-Brush Co. 51-042 QD Coupler. The QD coupler enables the conversion of any standard Badger air hose into a quick disconnect hose. (Includes 51-038 Badger Male QD). The addition of the QD coupler and male quick disconnect to the airbrush, makes airbrush changes a snap. A quick disconnect system saves time and increases efficiency to any production finishing process. A must for multi-airbrush users utilizing a standard Badger airbrush hose (with hose adaptors for varying brands) and threading one airbrush off and the next airbrush on when changing airbrushes. Works perfectly (with the companion Badger Air-Brush Co. 51-038 Quick Disconnect Plug) for my Badger 360 airbrush and Paasche D3000 air compressor.

    • Does the job. Make cleaning and changing airbrushes easier and much quicker.
Color: Brass
These quick disconnect fittings make it easy to attach and remove the airbrush hose from your airbrush. They shut off the airflow when the airbrush is disconnected. They work well and do not leak air. All my airbrushes are now equipped with these. They make cleaning and changing airbrushes easier and much quicker. ... show more

    • A "must-have" for your Badger airbrush!
Color: Brass
This is something every Badger airbrush user should have- a quick disconnect for your airbrush- minimize any possible wear and tear on the threads of your airbrush with a convenient quick disconnect. Great for multiple airbrush setups, as well as single setups. no air leaks, solid construction. I have this installed on my Badger Patriot 105. As with any airbrush connection (hose->compressor, airbrush->hose, etc) I'd recommend using PTFE tape (also called teflon tape or pipe tape) on the threads to ensure an airtight no-leaks fit. ... show more

    • Works well but new version.
Color: Brass
It works well but it is a new version that works a little differently. The previous version you could push it on without putting the collar back where the new version you have to pull the collar back before pushing it on. A minor issue but still works well with no air leaks.

    • Great For Your Badger Airbrush!
Color: Brass
Review Image by Robin H Robin H
This quick disconnect is an essential accessory for your Badger airbrush. Allows you to quickly remove the airbrush from your air supply. One thing that isn’t so apparent from the product photo is that there is a 1/8” to Badger adapter on the femal disconnect. This means you could remove it and use any standard 1/8” airbrush hose and not a Badger specific one. If I had known that I would purchased a generic hose, but not a large deal. I also like that they make male connectors for other brands of airbrush. I can use my Paasche airbrush, with purchased adapter, without having to change air supply hoses. A well thought out product! ... show more

    • I love it!
Color: Brass
There's nothing to dislike about this fitting set. For those who are inexperienced with air hoses (just as with plumbing, etc.), snag up a pair of teflon tape rolls (plumbing tape, which can be acquired for dirt cheap), wrap the male-end threads (the ones on your airbrush and on the fitting which attaches to the hose, also the threads on the compressor), and THAN thread everything together. On a side note, Badger designed this set to work with not only their own hoses, but pretty well every other also. The Badger thread piece, which normally screws into the hose, can be unscrewed so that the fitting can fit other hose sizes. I use mine with a Master compressor and hose, as well as not only this Badger QD for my Patriot 105, but also a Badger QD for Paasche and some Master QD fittings as well. Having taken the noted steps, I've absolutely zero problems and just plain love this thing. I'll gladly buy more of the fittings (at least the QD for the brushes anyway) when I get my other Badger brushes, too. Hands-down, though, grade-a product right here, and well worth the $. ... show more
