  • Works like a charm
Nice quality. Easy to install. Work as intended and I bought 2. Wanted to buy another pair as spare but probably unnecessary.

  • It does what it's supposed to
I actually got this for use with an Iwata hose, as going by the photos even with an adapter it would be the shortest of the various brands of valve & quick connector combos, and I prefer to keep the non-flexible "stalk" under my brushes as short as possible. On the plus side for me, the one I received actually had Iwata/Grex/Master-sized hose threads (and had an Iwata-to-Badger adapter already attached to make it a into a Badger fitting), unlike the one in the product photos. For me this was a pleasant surprise, but for someone buying this for a Badger hose, it of course might be the opposite. Packaging was Badger, and aside from the threads and the pre-installed adapter, it looks just like the photo, so I'm guessing Badger themselves buys and repackages these from another company that makes multiple versions. Maybe Badger got sent a shipment of the wrong type, and instead of sending them back, they just stuck adapters on them and packaged them up like normal. The valve only really makes a difference in the last 45 degrees (out of 405 degrees of total travel) or so. You can close it almost all the way before you notice any difference in airflow, and then all the actual adjustment happens in the last 1/5. Don't know if that's normal or not, and it doesn't really make it less usable, but it wasn't what I was expecting. In abstract I'd prefer adjustment to be made with more rotation rather than less, as this would allow for finer control, but since I'm using this at lower pressures, super fine control isn't necessary. I'm only dealing with a couple PSI worth of adjustment; It's not meant to be a regulator substitute; it's just for making minor tweaks on the fly. ... show more

  • Worth the price, if you need one.
For an airbrush beginner like myself, this allows me to use the less-expensive air brushes while learning. Some of the more expensive airbrushes have a built-in regulator or some other mechanism (like an adjustable 'stop') that prevents the user from using too much air. Not all compressor have an adjustment for this, and the ones that do have it, are often cumbersome to use (e.g. pull up knob (with effort), adjust while blowing air, pushing knob back down to lock.. re-adjust as-needed). This little thing allows me to adjust it right on the airbrush. Good quality and the o-rings last longer than other brands I have tried. ... show more

  • Started having issues after a week
Worked for a week. Now my compressor constantly runs from the leak. Jiggling it helped for awhile but now it's a constant hiss. Will be returning cause I assume I just got a bad one

  • Great add-on to your airbrush setup
The badger PAC valve regulator offers the ability to adjust the air flow to your airbrush with a very convenient quick disconnect feature. You could scour the net or Amazon for an airbrush with a MAC valve system, but why bother? Just add this to your setup and you can quickly and easily do what MAC valved airbrushes do with your regular trusty airbrush. The handy quick disconnect feature really goes a long way with swapping out airbrushes, or doing a quick clean. It's a bit tricky to get used to but once you get a feel for it you're grinning from ear-to-ear. So go ahead and indulge a bit with the Badger PAC valve. ... show more
