It’s no model, but it does what it’s supposed to
Style: Pipe Cutter, Flexible Pipes and Hoses
First impression, not very substantial. I was probably right All those years, a good razor knife is all you need to make repair cuts for mend/install on compressed air or garden water hose. True enough still after use wow. I’m a fan, and these stay in my ear hose clamp kit box with the 10 99 1220 fro
nt and side jaw crimpers. Mostly quit using the worm drive clamps they somehow manage to come loose over time. And if I come up on more substantial hose I’ll get this guys bigger brothers. You can make a non perpendicular cut especially if you crushed the brass fitting with your pliers wrench or your working with thin cheap nasty hose, in which case you have that coming.

Only Knipex tool I wouldn’t recommend!
Style: Pipe Cutter, Flexible Pipes and Hoses
I have switched most of my hand tools over to Knipex. This is the only one I have not been impressed with especially with the price attached to it. Does it’s “job”, but it is poor quality compared to their other tools. Would recommend another brand for a cutter over this one.

I use this cutter for hydraulic brake lines and irrigation tubing mostly, but I've used it for many other things as well. Such a useful tool and worth the price for sure!

Cuts rubber hose like butta'
Style: Pipe Cutter, Flexible Pipes and Hoses
This makes cutting rubber hose a billion times easier than using a razor. I also cut 2 gauge bronze welding cable cleanly and easily and also heat shrink for the cable even though it's not recommended for that.

Won't Cut 3/4" Schedule 40 PVC
Style: Pipe Cutter, Flexible Pipes and Hoses
I bought these to replace a PCV cutter I had that the blade broke. This model cutter won't cut schedule 40 PVC without a lot of squeezing, and even then, won't cut it square. I returned this model and bought model 94 10 185, which cuts schedule 40 like a breeze.

They've come in handy cutting different types of rubber hoses. Requires very little effort.

Excellent tubing cutters. I use then daily to cut poly tubing and love them. However, I recently noticed the blade is dulling and found one replacement blade here on amazon is $30!! I have tons of Knipex tools and all of them including these cutters are high quality. $30 dollars for a consumable item
on a $50 dollar tool is ridiculous though.
