Like everything from Backyard Discovery, this is made to look nice for a bit. I installed in 3 months ago and the metal pieces are already rusting under the paint. I see it lasting a year or two but super fun for now

made very well, self locking nuts for the bolts, i thought the tools were ok if you dont have anything better. absolutly no instructions of any kink. i dont know why they dont send some kind of guide to help assemble it. i had to partialyl assemble it before i could see it wasnt going together right. finally went to computer to look at pictures of how parts fit with each other. maybe youtube could help. in spite of assemly problems im very satisfied with the slide. nobody said life is easy ... show more

It came with no instructions. It was a pain in the place to install to be honest. I wish I bought a different slide. I thought we were getting a deal but now I have a slide that took FOREVER to get correct and ended up not being worth the headache.

I’ll be definitely sad if I wrote a review to mention that it was extremely time consuming to put together and he felt like it could’ve been fabricated in a way for them to slide into each other instead of all these pieces you screw on the outside. However I told him that may make it more costly. High quality materials but assembly is a nightmare. Top of slide did not fit opening in play structure so I literally had to construct a new frame around the top tube section and then attach that to my play structure. Directions were not very clear. Because of this I was never sure I was putting it together correctly so I left all bolts and nuts loose in case I had to disassemble a section and redo it. Once I saw that I had finished assembling it correctly I then went back and tightened everything down. ... show more

I've had this on our play set for over a year. It replaced the standard slide and the kids have enjoyed it. I installed it myself and it was straightforward. I recommend a drill with driver or impact to speed installation (just be sensible about the torque). A worthwhile upgrade for their playhouse.
