As an individual with RA - I didn't want to spend the Central Texas afternoon pumping up a spray to build pressure. Based on reviews I went with this model and am NOT disappointed. It took approx. 2 hours to charge. I used it with Bora Care which is a gel type termite formula. I did use some what hot water in the container and then put equal part Bora Care. PUT THE LID BACK ON AND MIX, MIX, MIX! Mix it sideways, swish it around, swish it the other way around. It initially sprayed and then got clogged up - I thought it was the machine. When I saw it trying to push jelly drops from the spray point I realized it DID NOT MIX MIX MIX. I did mix what I could with intensity and once the gel was liquified, it began to spray very nicely. After the initial treatment I did take care to fill with plain water and let it run through the hose. Worked well straight out of the box. Why did I only give it 4 stars? Overall, this item is good and I recommend it to anyone unwilling to pony up the extra dough necessary to buy a more reputable product. Assembly is easy and straightforward, and the variety of nozzles is a big plus, but the suction of the main pump leaves something to be desired. You should expect air to bleed into the hose, meaning that the spray will randomly become inconsistent. The best way to counter that is to tilt the contents toward the end at which the hose attaches, but that isn't a guaranteed fix. It's not a huge issue, and it doesn't happen every time, but I have had to redo parts of my lawn when the nozzle didn't want to cooperate. The rubber washers that came with it are pretty cheap too, so if you have or can buy replacements, that'd save you some headache down the road. ... show more

I recently planted six "Double Knockout” rose bushes along my front walkway, but soon learned I loved them as much as the bugs that were eating holes through their leaves. I bought a rose-specific pesticide, and the battle began! It worked very well, but I knew I'd need to spray them every two to three weeks, and my hand was already aching. Also, angling the bottle to cover both the top surface and the underside of each leaf was awkward. After reading reviews for this sprayer, and despite some of the negative feedback, I gave it a try. Game changer! Its 5L capacity is perfect, and the angled sprayer head allows for full coverage of all surfaces. I mix a concentrated form of the same pesticide with water right in the container, shut the cap, and am good to go. Be aware, I've found minor leakage along the wand where the pieces are joined, but it can be corrected for the most part by tightening the plastic cuff at that site. Even with minor leakage, the benefits far outweigh the hand-spraying alternative. It’s also motivated me to treat other plants and trees (Japanese Maples) because this system makes it so easy. :0) ... show more

Bought it to make my own weed solution and spray easily. Well it works great! Easy to carry with the great straps. Motorized sprayer is awesome! This is possibly the best yard investment I've made. Well worth the cost! Will buy again if need be.

I have read the reviews. A lot talk of leaks from one connection or the other. I read how some of them got weed or bug killer on their hands. This how my first use went. Completely assembled unit filled with Water and checked for leaks. Yes their was one. I re-tightened the connection in question and it still did drip a little. I took the connection apart and applied plumbers tape to the threads. Leak gone. I put on a pair of disposable gloves and drained balance of water and filled the tank with Clear All. It's a defoliant from Ortho. The unit worked flawlessly and I am very happy with my purchase. I see no reason to give this great item a bad review.
