I have bone damage due to multiple myeloma cancer that does not allow me to go to a regular massage therapist. My partner does not have strong hands for massage, either. But the damage to my back makes me long for a massage. This product has become my answer! I use it as I sit watching TV in my lounge chair before bed. Unfortunately, the unit has a 15 minute timer and then shuts off to avoid overheating. I've been using it for 15 min on lower back, then rest for 15 min to cool down, 15 min on mid-back, then rest for 15 min, and finally a wonderful neck and shoulder massage for the final 15 min. It would be nice if the duration was 30 min instead of 15 min. But I'm so happy that I am ok with the 15 min time limit. The only thing I would add to this unit is some kind of strap or handle to make it easy to reposition behind me. The unit is a bit heavy to reposition. But I'm learning and making it work. I've never tried a mechanical shiatsu massager before. Human hands are always the best. But this delivers a surprisingly good massage and it has different settings for pressure. I have probably had more than 50 very different types of massage pads ranging in price from $20 to over $300 . This Boris shiatsu has proven to be amazing in its functions and for the price. It gives a strong deep tissue massage yet it’s slow intensity settings make it Comfortable enough to go to sleep. My only issue is being petite, the rolling balls cannot be adjusted closer to my spine. Their set for a larger person. This still would not be a reason for me not to purchase it. The massage is fantastic it has several different modes Also has a heat button and a button to reverse the massage. I like the fact that it is small I can move it up and down my spine or whatever I feel the need for a massage Works great work the price. It's a plug in not wireless.

This massager is very powerful, power is adjustable. I have lower back pain for at least half year now and using this product the pain is almost gone (2x daily, 15 min.) I am so thankful! I just wish the heating power would be higher, not really feel it. But it is a must to have.

I have one of the other smaller models that this on claims to be better than. While it's design make it easier to position, and it has a remote so I am not contorting my arms to try to turn it back on after auto shut off, it does leave me wanting more. The massage rotation is too slow, even on max speed. My other one was much faster, even on the slower speed. It also doesn't feel as good on my back and neck as my other one. The device also makes a slight high pitch whistling noise. It can be quite frustrating if you're not drowning it out with loud music. I do with I would have bought a better one. ... show more

I’ve have spent so much money on back massagers and I can honestly say, this one is my favorite. I’m addicted to it! It is a deeper massage that really needs the knots out and heat that helps you relax. If you’re going to buy one, start here. Don’t waste money on things that vibrate and/or heat. The massager out the box was very easy to use - the massagers did exactly what I was expecting it to do. The heating element of the massager heats up quickly and has a full range coverage. The only thing that I would have liked to see was a longer cord connected to the remote to give you better range of use. I would recommend this product for tight muscles and stiffness.
