Product: Back Brace for Lower Back Pain Relief I’ve used different types of back supports over the years. This is one of the most comfortable ones that I’ve used, while still giving good support all the way around. I could definitely feel how stable my core was while wearing this support. I was able to do a couple of hours of activity that would normally aggravate my back without any pain or fatigue. The brace also didn’t wear too hot. Of course, it’s going to be a bit warmer, but the material is breathable. It has been cool since I got it, so I’ll see when summer comes down here in the South. There are very clear instructions on the back of the box on how to correctly wear the support. I find it more comfortable when standing than when sitting. It tends to pinch a little in some places when I’m sitting. While I’m tallish, my torso is short. The only issue I can see with this back support is that I don’t think it would fit all the way to the stated 50”. I’m not close to that, and I wasn’t sure it was going to be long enough for me. It does work for me, and I’ve been happy with it.

My husband who suffers from lower back pain is VERY pleased with this support-brace. This brace is easy to adjust to size and stays in place when wearing. My hubby is a large man, 6’2”, 230 lb with a 40” waist, the brace fits securely and does not pinch or slip. Hubby gets both good back support and lower back pain relief while wearing. He wears this brace frequently for about 4-6 hours at a time. This support brace is a well made, sturdy, durable and is highly recommended for back pain and support.

This is a good brace overall and may or may not be what you're looking for, depending on body shape, what type of support, you're after, etc. But it's very well made and provides solid support. The packaging mentions using it for just a couple hours a day max. I'd probably even use it less than that just for comfort reasons, so it's not a wear all day under your shirt type of brace, it's more of a strong support when needed. I found it to be helpful with relieving some moderate back pain that was set off by lifting and yardwork. Your needs might be different than mine though. It's not comfortable to wear but it's not uncomfortable either. You won't forget you're wearing it, but it also doesn't rub weirdly or anything like that. The sizing was good for me but I'm not sure how it's supposed to fit anything close to a 50" waist as stated. I wear a size 36 pant and it was sized right for me, but doesn't appear to have a ton of extra space that would accomodate someone significantly larger.

This is a low impact back brace, since the material is very soft and relies more on you wrapping the brace around yourself with the Velcro strap. With that though i wish it was not universal, for smaller bodies the extra length of up to 50in just gets in the way of everything including your arms when they catch the extra material.

I've used a similar back brace for years, so I was definitely in the market for a replacement or at least a second one to take when I travel. This brace is really good. I usually wear it if when my back feels tired. I'd also wear it on long walks so that my back is supported. The fit is fine for my waist (about 30 in), and there is maybe about 3 - 5 inches to spare, but I doubt that it would stretch to 50 inches, as listed in the advertisement. Overall, it's very supportive and I would recommend it.

It’s not what I thought it was. I thought it was help me sit up straight or at least give me some relief in my lower back and it doesn’t. The “bones” of the brace are flimsy and does nothing.

This band does not provide stable support. The brace is well made, comfortable, has great elasticity and the velcro sticks well. The problem is, it feels like a comfortable, tight waistband. This band doesn't keep your lower back straight, it flexes and bend when you bend. If you are looking for your lower back to be held straight, supported while lifting, this brace will not provide you that support. This brace will not support your posture while sitting in a chair or standing up. You can easily slouch in a chair with this brace on. If you still decide to buy this brace based on other reviews, at least take this into consideration. I purchased a large and I'm an average size man, 5'10 190 lbs., waist size 36. No way this is fitting anyone beyond a 36 inch waist. The primary straps just fit around my waist and stomach area. Even someone with an 38 inch waist will have an issue with the large.
