This is a great buy. The trumpet stand alone by itself is more expensive than this one. And you also receive two brushes and a snake brush with the total package. The stand is fully covered by felt, a nice addition. The one small, short coming are the stand legs, their construction is a little weaker than the other brand. It is something I can live with.

This is my third similar trumpet floor stand from a third different seller. The price was really competitive (less than $20). The five-legged stand has sturdy metal legs and sits nicely on the floor. Nonetheless, there are two reasons I did NOT give it 5 stars: (1) the metal legs are hard to open and close, requiring pushing in or out each of the legs individually instead of just falling in or out for easy packing inside the trumpet/cornet bell like my other stands; and (2) it is slightly shorter and smaller than my other stands, meaning that even my smaller cornet sits directly on the legs. Neither of these is a deal breaker at this price, and I just won’t take this stand to gigs so I don’t have to pack it up, although I easily could with just a few seconds more work.

Having grown up with a horn in my mouth, I recognize the importance of quality care of the instrument. One of the most important items to accompany the trumpet is having good cleaning, oiling and a stand to support the horn during breaks. This one is sturdy and easy to carry in the case.
