This is a great dual camera monitor for the price! No frills really, though it is quite a step up from our Infant Optics dxr-8 as far as features, and not much difference in price. I love the larger screen. Also, I didn’t this for the VOX mode but it’s amazing!! I sleep so much better without the constant screen and garbled white noise machine. I probably wouldn’t VOX for an infant, but for a toddler that sleeps well through the night it’s perfect. The menu/setting navigation is fairly easy, and a big plus is that the volume buttons are external (infant optics had volume as part of the menu). There are probably a lot of functions we’ll never touch. Overall very happy with the purchase and excited to set it up for two cameras once baby #2 arrives. ... show more

I searched and searched for the best monitor. Not only now do I wish I bought this when I only had one baby, but now having two littles this is the absolute best monitor! I love that it shows a wider view in the room from the camera and that I can see both babies at once. Has a lot of options to choose from and has really good connection. Switch to this for split screen to have both of my kids rooms on a single monitor. Overall I love the image quality and sound quality. It’s easy to use - very intuitive. Love the basic functionality (I don’t use the sound machine or light features). Signal is reliable. i talk to one of my kids thru it and the quality of transmission is adequate. Major cons is the screen brightness is way too bright on the dimmest setting for overnight use if you like to leave the video on like I do. Also the lowest sound level is pretty loud. ... show more

After a lot of research and reading reviews, I decided on this baby monitor. I wanted one without Wi-Fi to avoid hackers. While setting up the monitor, I noticed there was a big black blob in the middle of the screen. The monitor turns on and functions without problem. However, the blob was making the quality of the picture unclear. At first I thought it was due to a clear sheet that is usually placed on electronics from scratches. After realizing that wasn’t the case, I immediately email customer service. They were quick to respond and sent me a replacement right away. The new monitor works perfectly! I love the big screen and how it comes with 2 monitors. You can see two screens at once or switch to just one. The quality of the picture at daytime and night time is great. This system is just plain garbage. For starters, it’s 100% NOT 1080p. I had our 720p monitor & camera plugged in at the same time and held the monitors side by side and our old camera/monitor was SO much clearer even though technically the resolution on it is lower than this one. The screen never turns off unless you turn it off. It constantly detects sound so the green to red bar is always going off even if there is no sound in the room your baby is sleeping in. The lowest volume setting is not actually that low. The only way to lower the screen brightness is to go into the menu, there is no button to quickly change it. The monitor feels so cheap and flimsy cause it’s just made of plastic. Plus within less than an hour of using it the monitor lost signal to the camera even though it was plugged in and we had the antenna up and we were standing right outside the nursery, nothing worked to reconnect it without walking into our baby’s room and risk waking her up to unplug the camera and replug it in.
