I had some issues with the monitor and I have to say this is some of the best customer service I've experienced in teh last couple years. Babysense was very accessible and immediately shipped a replacement with the fastest shipping possible. I'd usually be much harder on a company but they went above and beyond and wanted to make things right. We bought this since it had Wirecutter's top recommendation and feel they cover the pro/con pretty accurately. As for the monitor- Pro: Intuitive controller buttons, local connection just works, night time vision is great, excellent range, super easy to pair cameras, good battery Con: Auto-scanning for sound is sort of strange when you have two monitors going back and forth (there has to be an easier way) Overall I’d recommend this monitor and you're in good hands making the decision to purchase it, again, so impressed with their customer service. ... show more

We’ve been using this baby monitor for a while now, and overall, it’s been fantastic. One of the best features is that it can connect up to 4 cameras, which is perfect for keeping an eye on multiple rooms or angles. It also plays soothing songs and has built-in night lights, which is such a nice touch for bedtime routines. The night vision is incredibly clear probably the best we’ve seen and the VOX mode is super helpful since the screen only turns on with movement or sound, which helps at night. My only minor complaint is that even on the lowest setting, the screen is still a bit bright in a dark room. But with VOX enabled, it only lights up when needed, so it’s manageable. Customer service is top-notch! We had a small issue, and they responded quickly and were very helpful. Definitely recommend this monitor to any parent looking for a reliable, feature-packed option with great support behind it. It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it. ... show more

I really like this baby monitor, you can toggle through multiple cameras and see them on the same screen at once or one at a time, and the sound can oscillate from screen to screen or stay on one. The sound machine feature is also nice. Very clear images. I'm taking one star because the monitor kickstand is poorly manufactured. Ours broke, and the metal rod that keeps it attached went into the monitor and ruined the image, rendering it unusable. The company was great and sent us a new one under the warranty, but we had the kickstand break off of two monitors. And we don't do anything crazy with them. We only turn it on to watch the kids while they sleep and close it, and put it away so my toddler doesn't get to it. So I would suggest they try to redesign how that's attached. But I do recommend them and have 2 other friends purchase the same monitor. ... show more

Wife and I are both pleased with this purchase. High quality video and sound. Super simple to set up. Having two cameras has been very useful; one in a permanent location and the other we can place where we need it. It has some silly features, like playing music and lights, those seem kind of worthless, but maybe they will be helpful one day. We love this camera! Previously had a Vtech that could not hook up additional cameras and the image was blurry. This image is super clear and I like how you can move around the camera from the monitor. It does not block out noise so we can hear the white noise machine but this doesn’t bug us. It also has a green light in the upper corner of the monitor that you can’t turn off, but this doesn’t bother us as well. You can see and hear all four cameras in scan mode (10 seconds per camera cycling). ... show more

This baby monitor has many pros, but we couldn’t get over the one main con which is that it doesn’t have motion detection/alerts and/or motion recording — this is something we grew used to having with our prior monitor so unfortunately we made the decision to return the monitor. CONS: No motion detection/alerts. Secondary con would be that you can hear the transition of sound between 2 cameras/rooms (sound machines). It’s not terrible so I could’ve overlooked it if there was motion detection. PROS: - Non-WiFi - Image Quality is great - Split View to see both kids at once - Split View WITH scan mode/audio cycling between the two cameras/rooms (love this!!! Really wanted to keep just to have this option vs. the screen showing only 1 room at a time in scan mode and/or the audio not switching in Split View unless sound is detected) - Minimal lighting on the cameras… red dots (which we are used to) and one small green dot you could easily cover with electrical tape If you do not need motion detection/alerts then I highly recommend this monitor. It’s just something we are used to, and now feel that we need since our first baby is now a toddler. ... show more
