I purchased this because I know Babyliss hair dryers great and fast. My old one I purchased second hand a decade ago finally gave up the ghost lol. I chose this one because it has a comb attachment to help straighten hair as you dry. I have to tell you that my whole life I’ve had these baby hairs at my temples that refuse to lay flat . I bought this dryer with high hopes, and it stopped working after only 14 months. I bought the pro one since I'm using it every day. This is the shortes lifespan of a dryer I've ever had. Not worth $100 for it to break so fast. Disappointed.

So far I like this hairdryer a lot. I had a cheaper one for a number of years and I can tell the difference with this nicer brand and style. I love the pistol grip and the cord is nice and long. It also fits my Orchid diffuser perfectly.

I expected a $100 to be good but I wasn't expecting it to be the best hair dryer I've ever owned. And it is. Somehow it dries my hair super fast without making my hair brittle. In fact, just the opposite. My hair feels like silk every time. I wasn't sure if it was because of a hair serum I use, so I dried my hair 4 times without using even conditioner (just shampoo) and every time, it felt so light and silky. My coworkers even noticed. I've already recommended it to my friend with super thick hair that takes forever to dry. The only con is that I'm spoiled now and will need to buy this very same hair dryer when this one dies! ... show more
