Several years back, i picked up the babyless edgers, zero regrets. I had been using the same andis masters to cut my hair for the last 14 years and honestly - they were all I knew. They got the job done but for my personal set, it took work, especially blending. The moment I took these out the case, picked them up, felt how light they were, not having the power cable weigh me down - I know I made the right choice. I have been using beard trimmers for over 30 years. The stuff you buy off the shelf, Remington, Norelco, Whal, ok stuff, 5/10, 6/10. But just couldn’t get the even, fast, smooth cut. Babyliss clearly is way beyond anything I have used before. The only way I found out about it was from my barber who had just bought one. I asked about it and they said one of the best clippers you can get but expensive. I don’t like having the most expensive of anything, but I will wait to get quality and I will pay for what I believe is the best for me. This was a perfect fit for my needs. Perfect beard trim in 1 minute without rushing. No multiple passes, no ‘snagging’ No pulling, just a sharp clean, smooth, COMFORTABLE cut. Clearly the best. Not a plastic light weight. Feels good in the hand, you can just tell it’s high quality.

Great clipper, wish it would have lasted longer as the blades aren’t cheap but overall great quality especially if you have long hair!

I thought the clipper would be much bigger but it is actually quite compact and has great grip for the hand. Out of the tin bin the battery was low of course but it only took a good 1hr to 1hr 30 to come to a full charge. When you hit the on switch it seems like it lacks power (low noise) although once you start to cut it performs very well and you can actually hear the hair cutting which to me is a plus. I am no pro barber but through the research that I’ve done it was between these Babyliss clippers or the Wahl magic clippers. I have been cutting my own hair here and there for a couple of years and recently more and more due to the pandemic. Truly any cordless will get rid of the hassle of a corded clipper and trust me I’m loving that fact but also the quality of these Babyliss clippers is very noticeable right out of the box. All in all I love the feel and performance of these clippers and I’m sure you would too. I’ve used them a bit before I took these pictures guys so take it easy they did not come used. I’ve also read about zero gapping your clippers...I’ve got it as close as I could but I’m sure it can be a bit closer. As time goes by I’ll learn to adjust it much better.

Okay so I am not sure about some of these other reviews it almost seems like it’s hit or miss with this seller but the machine came BRAND NEW, unused and all screws were tight, no issues charging or with battery life. I will say that the directions for machine say when charging the blue light is supposed to stay on and when it’s fully charged it will turn off but that is false, it blinks slowly while charging and will stay on once fully charged. Also zero gapping was extremely easy and I did not have to purchase any new blades in order to do so, I YouTube’d it and you don’t even need to remove the blades to zero gap. Pictures I took for this review were after I used it. Definitely pretty pricey and in case you didn’t notice the reasoning for the price difference between the machines is because the gold machine has actual gold blades and the black has granite. Overall worth the purchase 100%. (Cheaper on eBay if you don’t mind waiting a little longer for shipping)
