I guess it’s just a hot brush but not for wet hair? I didn’t realize they when I bought it. It’s hard to use as a hot styler also because it gets hot and the air blows the hair and keeps it from smoothing into a style. Seems like it’s not a good dryer or styler; I have another hot air brush that is a dryer also and it works better to style already dry hair than this one does. I’ll keep it because I don’t think items like this should be returned but I do regret the purchase. ... show more

Honestly I probably wouldn’t have gotten this myself. I recently got the BaByliss style switch bc it’s dual voltage for travel but also bc I liked the smaller round brush attachment and the diffuser. I didn’t think I’d like an even smaller round airbrush but it’s such a great size for touch ups. I meant to just try it out on a few front pieces and easily did my whole head in maybe 15/20 min which is pretty fast as I have long thick hair. This is probably amazing for those with bangs or shorter hair. My hair is naturally curly so I doubt I’d try to go from wet to dry with this but I’ll definitely be using it to curl or touch up pieces. I think I would recommend this over the Wavytalk brush as it does about the same but bc that one’s heat only it gives less volume. I used the first setting and that was enough. The noise level is very tolerable, second setting volume is comparable to other fan tools. It seems to get decently hot but it also seems to cool quickly when you’re turning it off and on to grab the next piece or resection. The barrel is a little short for long hair but it didn’t seem to especially snag anywhere. Was very easy to hold and to use, but if it was a little longer that would be nice too. It does feel kinda cheap and plasticky but works decently well. If you have wavy or straight hair or bangs I think this is a great option. If you have curly hair I don’t think you need this if you have other similar tools but it’s nice to have. ... show more

I think one important factor with this hair tool is understanding that it is NOT meant to be a hair dryer, it’s meant to be an air styler. That being said, I will use my blow dryer to dry my hair about half to 3 quarters of the way dry and then go in with this brush to do my styling. The bristles are a tiny bit pokey, but not bad. They grip my thin hair really well and my hair doesn’t slip out all over the place. This works great for root volume. Again, start with damp hair and hold this at your roots and turn it as the air is blowing so it dries your hair the rest of the way. There’s no fancy bells and whistles on this, just 2 heats settings and it does get hot. It’s not super loud, but it does make noise due to the air.
