I research SO many different gliders to get for our upcoming baby girl. I ultimately decided on this one for various reasons including the power recliner feature. It is very quiet when recliner and going back to original position. It also has smooth glide and rocking feature. It doesn't turn a complete 360 degrees but that doesn't bother me. It also has some space on the sides when sitting it in which I wanted. I was worried about my feet not touching the bottom when sitting in the chair but my feet touch (5'2" height) and also fits my husband really well (6'1"). The box it gets delivered in is massive and heavy which is something to consider when getting it delivered. It was easy to put together based on my husband's review - bottom piece, head piece and two side pieces that slide in easily. It is also VERY comfortable and when both my husband and I sat it in we didn't want to get up! I was torn between getting this one and a few similar ones that reclined by pulling a lever but I am so glad I went with this one!! well worth the extra money and may be good to purchase with using the registry completion discount to get some money off! ... show more

Having spent many late nights and long hours in an inexpensive and rigid wooden glider with our first son, I promised myself that I would treat myself to a top-of-the-line nursery chair if we had another child. I was nervous about purchasing an $800 recliner without being able to see it in person, but so far (two weeks in) I’m very happy with this purchase decision! The package was extremely heavy, as is the chair - it’s not easy to move around. This being said, once we opened the package we found the chair was in two simple parts and it was incredibly easy to put together. Both the gliding and reclining function are smooth, effortless, and quiet. The recline is significant - it doesn’t lay totally flat but it reclines enough that it would be easy to sleep in. I also love the lumbar pillow and suspect that it will end up being a godsend. I was most impressed with the fabric of this chair. While part of this chair’s appeal for me was that it is made in part of recycled plastic bottles and recycled yarn, I was also concerned this might lend itself to a less comfortable fabric. This is not at all the case - this chair is SUPER soft and comfortable. I was also worried about how much space this chair would take and was surprised at how compact it really is - even reclined. This is a positive thing for me, but the narrowness of this chair is something that some purchasers may wish to be mindful of. I am 5’6”, normally a size 10-12, am currently 7 months pregnant and I fit in this chair quite comfortably, but there’s not a ton of room to spare - maybe an inch or two on either side of me. I do wish it was available in other colors, although I think the neutral color it comes in is lovely and would compliment a wide variety of other colors. I added two photos - one in the evening with the bedroom light on and one with natural light - to give a sense of the color offered. My last food for thought is that it might be worth it to shop around. I realized after I purchased this chair that I could have saved 5% at Target (because we have their RedCard) or 10% at Modern Nursery. When the total cost is $800, that’s a decent chunk of change. However, the glider is not returnable with some other vendors and Amazon’s customer service has never let me down, so overall I’m happy we purchased this glider from Amazon. Pros: Elegant, pretty, neutral for any decor. I love that it’s “stain resistant” so easy to wipe— with feeding and a white chair, that’s a must for me. Love the USB charging capability. The recline is quiet. Comfortable to sit in, and I like to use the included pillow for baby support. I look forward to using this recliner as a normal piece of decor elsewhere in the house when her nursery no longer needs it. It was extremely easy for my husband to put together which was a delightfully unexpected bonus. Cons: It has always squeaked when I rock in it when facing a certain direction, it’s just a minor squeak that would probably be fixed easily with some WD40, but thought I would mention. ... show more

We LOVE everything about this chair! We looked and sat in tons of chairs and went to multiple furniture and baby stores to find the perfect nursery chair. We struck out until we came across this one! It has EVERYTHING we were looking for in a chair for our daughter’s nursery. It has wings and a high enough back to rest our heads on. (I’m 5’8” and my husband is 6’3”.) It reclines, swivels and rocks. It’s an electric recliner that’s pretty quiet and the button is on the inside arm so we won’t even have to move a sleeping baby to recline! (Some of those reclining handles are so far away and down the side of the outside of the chair and this one is nice and close!) The charging port is a bonus too! The color and fabric is SO beautiful and neutral. It seems like it will be easy to clean although we haven’t had any messes on it...yet. Most importantly, this chair is SO comfortable. We didn’t test it out before purchasing online, but we took our chances and went off other reviews. We were both blown away by how comfy it was! I was worried that it was going to lean back too far, but it doesn’t! It leans back a little to be super comfy, but the photos make it seem farther than it is. The price range was a little higher than we were originally going for, but this chair is worth every penny! (It was also eligible for the baby registry 15% completion discount!) Shipping was FAST too! About 4 days after we placed the order, it was in our home. It came in two pieces and my husband said it was easy to put together. There was no chemical smell on the chair which was important to me too! I highly recommend this chair!!! We love it so much! ... show more
