Is this known to smell like an electrical fire? Purchased in May of 2024, mostly use it for rocking. Have never used the charger ports in it and rarely recline the chair. One afternoon came to the nursery to something that smelled like an electrical fire. Figured out it was coming from the charging port/recliner control panel because it was very hot to the touch. Unplugged it and only using it for rocking from now on. Has this happened to anyone else? Unfortunate situation, could’ve ended very badly, because the chair is great otherwise. ... show more

I would avoid this chair and select one of the other similarly priced competitor options for three reasons: 1. About four months after purchasing, the motor just straight up stopped working. Dealing with their customer service company, million dollar baby, has been a total joke. Every time we send them the pictures they need or the videos, they have asked for yet another video. We are 13 emails in and 4 videos, and they are finally sending us a replacement piece, which will also take a long time to get here. Stuck with a broken one in the meantime. Trust me, if you are having your first child, you do not have time to be sending four and five videos and multiple pictures to get a simple rebate or simple customer service. I won’t be buying anything from this company again because of this difficulty with its service. It also just feels presumptuous, as a sidenote, that you would expect anyone with an infant to send you several follow-up videos. Guess what’s not high on my to do list? Lol. 2. The ports on the inside are ultra annoying. They jab you in the ass and thigh if you try to sit on the right side of the chair or move over a little. No idea why you would not just put them on the outside with a childproof cover. 3. If you are tall, this is not the chair for you. I am 5’11 and half of my calves and all of my feet hang off the end, when fully reclined. Very uncomfortable. ... show more

I was so excited to finally order this chair. I had been eyeing it for almost a year and when I received it I wish I had it when my child was an infant. I like that it has the option to recline or glide. It’s beautiful and I thought it was designed well. However, the charging ports (both usb-c and usb) are not powerful enough to charge a current iPhone or iPad. I hadn’t used the charging port until a few weeks in and I was excited to get some work done while my child was playing so I could be comfortable and supervise them. After a little research I see that most people have this issue. It’s advertised as convenient for parents and was half of the reason I bought the chair, however it’s not advertised anywhere that you can’t charge an up to date phone or device. Customer service says “ our output on the USB panel is only 5V/1Amp & some USB-C charged devices use more amps” Just beware. I would’ve bought a different chair had I known the bonus part of the chair was basically useless. Also- I would stay away from baby Letto products in general. Upgraded my daughters crib to one from them and 2 of the pieces had giant chunks missing and was a hassle to replace. ... show more

Daughter in law registered for a similar chair which I ordered directly from the manufacturer website. It never came, lots of excuses and blaming FedEx from that seller so I cancelled and had her look for another one. She said this was one she had considered but went with the other one due to a cheaper price. Well I guess this is a case of getting what you pay for.... Ordered this one and had it in the nursery within three days. Delivered ahead of schedule, directly to doorstep . Took two people to carry upstairs, but once there, very easy to assemble. My son has tested it out. Now we just need grandbaby #3 to arrive and give her approval as well!! ... show more
