This chair is so stunning! The color is a beautiful cream and the legs are a neutral wood tone so it works in a variety of different styles. It is a comfortable chair with a steady rock. I have not had too much trouble with it “creeping” across the floor like some rockers. It does move slightly as I get up from it but not as much as some of the reviews would have you believe. I did not want a glider or a recliner because I have 3 older children who would try and use the glider as a play gym and I wanted something that had a simple rocking motion like back in the day. we bought this chair while i was pregnant with my first. she’s now 16 months old, so we’ve used it for a while. it’s perfect. it looks sleek but it’s nice and cushy while still being supportive. the arm rests are the perfect height. the back rest comes up high enough for both myself (5’7”) and my partner (6’5”) to feel supported. back when i was shopping around, one of the most important things to me was to find a chair my partner (320 pounds) would feel comfortable in and this is it. it has a nice deep seat without being too deep to get up from. it sits at the perfect height for us too. i like using a pouf to help me rock. noteworthy things: first, we put baby proofing adhesive things on the front of the legs. the chair legs stick out pretty far and hurt so bad to bang up against so i def recommend baby proofing them. secondly, the chair is definitely stain resistant, but not stain proof. that’s fine, i think it does as advertised. thirdly, it does slide around a little bit (at least on carpet). thankfully, despite being sturdy, it isn’t too heavy so it’s pretty easy to move back into place. i made the mistake of putting some anti-slide adhesives on the bottom of the chair and it was not only pointless, but made the chair way harder to rock. i scraped them off and the original chair feels so much better. this chair was definitely a splurge for us, but it was worth it. it’s definitely the comfiest chair we own. ... show more
