With 5-position shoulder height adjustment and 2-position crotch buckle for seat adjustment, the Trooper™ Convertible gives parents the ultra-convenience for installation and adjustment. The rear-facing recline flip foot allows the Trooper™ to get great installation angles with ease. Forget the Cosco Scenera, this is the travel car seat you want. It's really lightweight and easy to carry despite being a larger, more comfortable size for larger babies. It was super easy to install on various airplanes and is slim enough to fit within the seat without any issue. Our baby was comfortable, safe, and secure in it during our flights and in our rental cars. The only thing I might suggest for future versions would be a handle of some sort to make it even easier to carry, but I didn't have any issues lugging it through the airports, and if you got a travel bag for it that would take care of that. I don't know if I'd use it as our primary car seat, as it's not super plush, but as a travel or backup/second car seat? No brainer. It's a great value for this price. ... show more

Love this car seat for the most part. We use it as a travel car seat since it is so light weight and easy to carry through an airport. Padding is good and my toddler seems very comfortable in it. Wish the latches were the click in kind. It is hard to get the seat installed super tight like I like but it is tight enough for my comfort. Love the weight limits on it though! ... show more

Giving this car seat 3 stars. Although it was a good value for the money and its adaptability, the seat did not fit in our car in the rear facing mode. The kick-out base foot (which allows the seat to be in a reclined position), made the seat too long to fit in the back seat, unless the front seat was fully forward. Reading the instructions closer, the manufacturer recommends the seat to be in the middle position. This makes it difficult to put baby in the car, especially for older parents/grandparents. ... show more
