The Baby Trend Trooper 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat converts from rear facing infant seat (4-18lbs) and rear facing toddler seat(18-40lbs), to forward facing toddler seat (22-65lbs) as your child grows. With 5-position shoulder height adjustment and 3- position crotch buckle for seat adjustment, the Trooper convertible gives parents the ultra convenience for installation and adjustment. Lower belt slots and better recline angle is ideal for infants born prematurely. The rear-facing recline flip foot also allows the Trooper to get great installation angles with ease. Trooper's nimble frame can fit three across in most vehicles which is great for families that have more than one kiddo. The lightweight shell also allows for use of LATCH installation up to 55 lbs. This is the second time I have bought this seat, I originally bought one for my then 1 year old, and still use it, she is three. Then when my second child turned 1, I got this seat again. It is great and easy to install, which is anyone has put in a car seat you will know that is a big deal! We traveled with it and installed in our rental vehicle and it was quick and easy which is helpful when you just want to leave the rental car place! Seat cover comes off easily to wash. Forget the Cosco Scenera, this is the travel car seat you want. It's really lightweight and easy to carry despite being a larger, more comfortable size for larger babies. It was super easy to install on various airplanes and is slim enough to fit within the seat without any issue. Our baby was comfortable, safe, and secure in it during our flights and in our rental cars. The only thing I might suggest for future versions would be a handle of some sort to make it even easier to carry, but I didn't have any issues lugging it through the airports, and if you got a travel bag for it that would take care of that. I don't know if I'd use it as our primary car seat, as it's not super plush, but as a travel or backup/second car seat? No brainer. It's a great value for this price. ... show more

Very good car seat. Most of the time I dont like car seats because they are a pain but this one is less so. It adjusts easily for all positions. I love how the buckles are individually snapped in unlike those bad ones that you have to put together like a puzzle. Baby sits very comfortably in the seat and has plenty of room. I gave this car seat 4 stars however due to the fact that in the description it says the straps are twist free and they are not. This is my daughter’s favorite car seat. For the price is what’s better! I had the evenflow 360 which was $400 and my daughter hated it when she would sleep her head would be on her knees with this one her head lays perfectly back and I don’t have to worry about her neck. The size is perfect if you have a sedan and is worth the money. The quality is great for piece I paid well worth it. The design isn’t too extra either. Installing this was super easy. My little one just outgrew her first car seat from when we brought her home, and this was super easy to get her fitted into. The rear seat install just takes a seat belt through the bottom and clicked it in. I love that this is carseat that can be used for much longer and grows with your little ones.
