I see so many people complaining that it's heavy. It literally says 35lbs in the description. Also I keep seeing the straps are too tight, yall just don't know how to loosen them. This is my second baby trend carseat and I love it! If you order it and are having trouble with the straps there is a manual to show you how to loosen them and it's super simple. Very soft and comfortable for baby. I do recommend getting a U shaped carseat head pillow for newborns for extra support! ... show more

it isnt over the top for my newborn baby at the time. however i will point out one thing that did break while using it for my daughter that ended in me actually having to chuck it past the refund tie period, the cover that provides shade for the baby actually broke and it wasn't something you can fix with glue....so i loved the color but i live in florida and that part is essantal for a baby so i am slightly disappointed in that. i hope the seller sees the review because i have pictures i could sent them. ... show more

I almost cancelled my order reading the reviews after I placed my order due to the complaints about the straps etc. All it took was a simple search on YouTube and found out how to adjust everything plus how to install. Very pleased with the quality of the car seat.
