This is the best car seat I have found. I bought the blue one for my grandson a couple years ago, I loved it so much that I just got the pink one for my granddaughter. After trying a few carseats and returning them I got this one for the canopy feature. It's one of a kind. It is hard to install but so we're all the other ones I tried and returned. Car seats just suck to install. There is no way around it. I feel it is very safe and sturdy. It has more recline positions than the others in the same price range which is perfect for my car cause it has the seats that tilt back so stuff don't fall out but it makes rear facing baby seats lean forward more and this one is the only one I could get to recline back far enough. Which is why I returned the others. It does have large sides around the head but that is what makes it feel safer in a side impact crash. It's there to protect there little melons. It feels cushioned enough. My grandson has never complained about being in it. My granddaughter has not been in it yet. It just came. The straps are easy to adjust. I can't comment on the infant or premie adjustments as they used the portable infant seats until they out grew them. So we started using the big kid seats after that. If they get twisted you can easily see that and they are so much easier to fix than a reg car seat belt. It has been easy to clean so far. You spot clean it with a wet rag. I mean I'm not too worried about it anyways, it's not like you can sell these things after. They have expiration dates and most people know not to buy used carseats anymore. They are not safe as you can't trust that they haven't been in a car accident. The shoulder pads that come on it got some nonslip stuff on the back that seems to bother his neck. That is the only con I have found with this car seat. It has all the bells and whistles of a more expensive seat but for an affordable price. I would highly recommend this seat. The sun cover is by far my favorite feature. It comes off if you need it too. But it gets used too much for it to come off. This has been a perfect car seat for littles who hate when they feel like the sun or moon is following them😂 overall it’s a great car seat, it’s easy to buckle and unbuckle, the only thing I found a little difficulty with was the recline but it just needed a little muscle. I love being able to move the shade from the back so the AC vent above her car seat can blow air straight into her car seat. I bought one for my car and one for my husband's car. We have yet to use them (will update review). I'm honestly not sure why everyone seems to say the instructions are difficult to follow or they didn't understand it for rear facing. It seems pretty straightforward to me. My only complaint is that it doesn't come off of the base (from what I can tell) so some adjustments are complicated. To move the crotch strap, you have to put it to full recline mode and shove your hand underneath it. My husband has big hands so he may have not been able to do that part. With some effort I got it adjusted how we need it. Also kinda weird that the cupholders are square but his cup fits so that's okay. ... show more

Most convertible car seats 💺 don’t have the shade/visor thing and this one is amazing to protect the seat from the direct sunlight while not in the car ! I’m happy it came with the cushions for the straps so it doesn’t rub on my sons neck. I will get another soon for my fiancés car. Only thing is it’s difficult to move from car to car so once it’s there I don’t touch it lol ... show more

My baby loves his big boy car seat. The shade is great because he falls asleep in the car. The only thing I wish is that the buckle by the crotch area was adjustable. But I guess it's like that for safety reasons.

I just opened the box this evening and immediately fell in love with all of the features of this carseat! I have to say I have always stick with Graco and Britax for all 3 of my kids... until now. I have a 22mo that we needed to exchange his infant seat for a larger seat. He'll still be rear facing for a short bit more so we wanted a convertible seat - just wish we would have gotten it sooner. The canopy was the first selling point and boy was out worth it. You can adjust the height (6 settings) and location of the canopy. All of the other features that I've loved on my other car seats through the years - easy adjust straps with quality cushions, polish material, easy recline, & simple installation - this more affordable car seat has all of that! If after using the seat starting tomorrow, my opinion changes, I will update my review. ... show more
