I got this specifically for ease of setup and use it when traveling or on the go, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase (I've also purchased add-on cameras, which were a breeze to pair with the system). This will be great for vacation, using around our home, or loaning to grandparents for ease of mind when the kids spend time at home (and it's simple enough that they'll be comfortable using it!). Is this home security/HD quality video etc.? No... but I don't need, want, or expect that in a baby monitor, especially at this price point. I love this monitor! At some point charging it.. the screen was broken- I contacted the company and they were quick responding and even quicker to send me out a new monitor. I love that you can talk into it, play music, know the temperature of the room and most importantly my favorite is when the sound ISNT on, the light at the top let's you know when there is loud noise (Such as baby crying) bc the color goes up to red for high volumes stays green for normal and yellow for moderate sounds.
