EDIT: Seller replaced and turns out I had been sent the incorrect model. This issue is resolved and I have the proper 5000mAh battery now. Lasts a LONG time now (close to 10 hours as advertised) and the cameras are great! The seller did a great job of communicating quickly and I got the replacement fast! I Love almost everything about this but it's frustrating that I cant trust it on battery overnight as it only comes with 2000mah and that lasts 3 hours maybe 4. I will be happy to change the review to 5 stars if the description is changed. It's even more confusing as farther down it says 2100mah but that isn't correct either. I would LOVE to purchase the 5000mah but I can't find it online anywhere and I don't see how it could fit unless there is an extension cover of some kind.

This is a great product—by far the best I’ve found—and they have great customer support. I’m technically challenged and had to send back two monitors from other manufacturers because I ran into technical problems. When I tried to find support it was useless. They didn’t respond at all. Dr. Meter responded every time with clear instructions and I now have an excellent working monitor with three cameras so I can keep an eye on my daughter with profound special needs and epilepsy. I've had this monitor for awhile and for the most part I love it. Product build: [3.5/5] feels like pretty cheap plastic, but not terrible. The antenna on the actual monitor doesn't really stay up by itself anymore, but I can still prop it up myself. All the buttons still work and nothing has fallen off. Camera quality: [5/5] I previously had a older vtec model and the age really showed in the camera quality. This monitor is nothing like that, I can clearly see my child in HD (when connection is stable). The night vision is even better, you don't have to strain to understand the video, hardly any grain, still clear. No complaints about the camera quality. Sound Quality: [4/5] sound can be a little soft at times, but it's not that big of an issue with the alert system. Pretty good, but it'd be nice if it can go louder. Software: [3/5] this is probably the biggest drawback. I am pretty good with tech and have used a lot of different things in my life, so basic troubleshooting isn't an issue for me, but my wife hated the "bugs" in the system. Because the monitor is not wifi-based (perfect for me I don't want any hackers to see my kid) you need a stable connection between the monitor and camera(s). If you lose stable connection, i.e. 1 bar or blinking, the monitor will attempt to "fix" the issue itself, by constantly cycling back and fourth through the camera displays. At first this will seem like your device is broken but it's a super easy fix, just press "swap" when you know the connection is more stable, and you're good to go, video feel will be back up and running. The monitor will also "alert" as though sound is going off, when the battery us low, even if there was no sound. This isn't a big deal to me because the monitor will go off non-stop if you let the battery drain too low. The 'sleep' feature after 5 minutes is great for battery life and for alerts, having the monitor come on when sound changes (we use a sound machine and it is still able to easily pick up my child's sounds even with the sound machine max volume) is extremely convenient. Hardware/Buttons: [5/5] buttons do everything I need. Shortcut button let's touch control brightness and volume, menu button let's you alter other setting such as time, alters, etc. The arrow buttons that rotate the camera work great, no complaints. TLDR: 4/5 +Great video +Good monitor +Turning camera is great + decent battery life +alerts are great +sleep mode is convient -A little quiet -connection can be a little fickle when low battery - monitor feels a little cheap

I have had this monitor and 4 cameras for the past year or so and it works wonderfully. I have a day care so having multiple cameras was a must for me. I love that I can use the sound or not, that the monitor stays on, the screen is very clear with light or in the dark and that it scrolls through each camera every 10/15 seconds. I wish the charge on the monitor would last longer (maybe 2.5 hours) but it's not a deal breaker, I just plug it in when I can. I recently purchased another monitor and 2 cameras and I was able to connect those to the new monitor and now I have 2 monitors and 6 cameras. They do not interfere with each other at all and I love that I can watch all my day care kids. I would definitely recommend. I added two pictures, one is with light in the room and the other is in night mode.

I love the portability of this. We didn’t want a baby monitory that connected through wifi because I’m paranoid and I work in security so with confirmation bias in full effect, I feel like this was the best choice for us. I also didn’t realize until after we got it, how inconvenient it would be for us if this needed to connect through wifi. I mentioned portability - we travel a lot. We spend a lot of time with different friends and families, not all of whom have children. I love that we’re able to grab one of the cameras off the wall, the monitor and chargers and we can set this up anywhere we need to. It gives me such peace of mind knowing I can have eyes on my daughter, wherever we’re staying. The daytime image quality is incredible. I’m staring at the monitor as I write this review, and I can see my daughter’s messy hair, in all of its detailed glory. The quality of the image reduces slightly as you zoom in and the IR is probably as good as you’re going to get for a baby monitor. If I’m completely honest, the IR on these cameras is better than the IR on my outdoor cameras. I haven’t tested it’s full range, but I haven’t had any connection issues. I can bring the monitor with me outside and across the yard and it still works. But again, I haven’t tested to see just how far away I can go. Don’t leave the monitor plugged in overnight. We used to and it killed our battery. I’m sure it’s easy enough to just get a replacement battery, but if you don’t want to deal with the headache of it, don’t leave the monitor plugged in 24/7. As a first time mom, I was incredibly anxious about making sure we got a quality monitor and after reading the reviews on this one, I had mixed feelings. After 10 months of daily use, I can confidently say I’m happy with our decision and I would absolutely buy these again.
