The Baby Jogger City Turn Rotating Convertible Car Seat features a secure rotating mechanism that allows you to turn the seat 180 degrees with one hand while in rear-facing mode. I read a review that had stated they did not like the fact that when the car seat is turned you can’t shut the car door. Regarding that I would like to say the ENTIRE point of this car seat is so I do not have to bend and duck into the car to put my child in it so the fact this car seat spins out far enough to easily put my child in I love it! It beats all other 360 car seats. I will say the one complaint I have is after it’s installed when you press the button to turn it you just have to make sure the seat belt at the bottom doesn’t get caught because sometimes it does. I absolutely love that it swivels so I don't have to twist my back or the baby's trying to get him in and out. He is one yr old, just turned, so he is much heavier and this carseat makes it so much easier to get in and out of my pathfinder. And when he doesn't want to be in the carseat and is upset while I try buckling him, having him facing me while buckling him in is also much easier than struggling sideways. The height of this carseat is also very nice because my child is tall. He is also a chunky monkey lol so he has plenty of room but it's also not as wide as other carseats either so it doesn't take up the middle seat like other seats do that have wider bottoms. This one fits him perfectly without being wide or too thin. The head rest really fits around his head nicely too. He just looks so comfortable and relaxing like when he is in it it makes me want to try it lol. Super expensive but I think it's totally worth it. The way you use the belts and stuff to put it in the car itself is super easy too. Way easier than using the latch system, which I do love, and just as tight as if u were using the latch. The media could not be loaded. The first thing i noticed about this car seat is that it came in a super large and heavy box. The car seat I was previously using was a Gracco and it weighed 10lbs-so I wasn’t expecting this. Thank goodness my super brought the box up my 4 flight walk up! When you remove the car seat from the box it has significant weight- which I guess is normal for stationary car seats. So I would suggest having someone around that can help carry the box. The car seat itself is absolutely beautiful! The color, and cushioning really stand out. The car seat comes with instructions as well as a quick install guide- which I thought was cool. I read the entire manual and felt comfortable installing the car seat. My boyfriend (who is a firefighter) would normally do this but he was away on business and I needed to install the car seat ASAP since I already donated the old one. For added safety I watched a few install videos I found online and on YouTube. My son is over 25lbs and I decided to place the car seat forward facing. Per the instructions you can use this care seat in rear facing until 40lbs (I think) but I decided to forward face. The installation was very easy. The only trouble I had was that my car is an older model suv and I couldn’t locate where the tether strap anchors were located. After some googling I figured out they were in the back of the seat located in the trunk. So if you are forward facing I suggest checking on that before you try installing. Once I figured that out installation was super easy! So far my son is super comfortable and seems very happy during our car rides. Everything on this car seat is convenient and easy to operate. You would be suprised how many "turn to me" car seats are ridiculously difficult to turn to you. This one is so so easy, it takes no effort at all. The quality is really nice and my girl gets the biggest smile whenever I put her in it. I wish it had a higher weight limit for the forward facing mode, but I honestly only think the turning function is useful when they are rear facing anyway.
