Modern Baby Alive is really impressing me with the selection of skin tones and authentic ethnic American hairstyles, like the cornrows on this baby doll, and the curly, woolly styles on many other dolls made of easy to clean molded plastic instead of synthetic hair. I wish this hairstyle was on more dolls too, but this "dino" version (not a theme we were actually interested in) in this skin tone is the only one I saw with these braids, If there was a light-skinned (caramel) toned baby doll with this hairstyle I would have bought her too. The face with that huge happy smile and little bottom teeth with such big eyes, and the cuteness of everything about these dolls, just make them one of the main go to brands for baby dolls. Wish they had the boy counterpart of these dolls too with ethnic hairstyles. I don't see many boy dolls in general. Without the diaper this is perfect for my one year old, no small pieces just a doll, outfit and bottle. Posable and can sit on its own. Would absolutely buy again
