Definitely a great purchase: I bought this chair to be a multi-use salon chair, I was very specific in looking for a chair because I need it for makeup artistry and for brows. I had a really hard time finding a chair that sits up 90° and also sits back 160°. It was important that I had both options because when doing makeup I prefer for clients to sit straight up and down, and for brows I prefer for them to lay back almost all the way. I also prefer for clients to be eye level with me when I'm doing their makeup and I wanted to find a chair that raised up hydraulically high enough for me to do so. This sits almost as high as my director's chair. The director chair I have from seat to floor is 30" and this chair is 28" I believe. It works perfectly! The shipping was a little bit slow since it arrived in two separate packages, I think it took a total of about a week and a half. The chair is very heavy so I did need my husband to help me load it into the salon, but that also means it's very sturdy. I did test the weight limit, I had my husband sit in it who weighs 380 lb and it reacted perfectly. It's very comfortable and feels very luxurious. I love the cushions and the foot rest. It also doesn't feel unstable when it's at it's highest setting. Minor complaints: My only complaints are it's a little bit of a darker gray than I envisioned based on the pictures, but it's still very neutral and goes with anything that you have in your salon. Directions were a little bit difficult to understand, and there is a couple of things that were left out of the instructions that were necessary. There is also a small tear at the bottom of the seats, but it's underneath of the chair so it doesn't bother me however I'm assuming it happened and shipping. Because there is metal just behind the piece of leather that I'm assuming poked through. Personally this is not a big deal, but I do think it would be important to know. Overall, this is a great purchase! I do think this chair is working perfectly for what I need it for, the price was very reasonable, it's a very comfortable chair and certainly looks more luxurious than a typical salon chair which is what I was going for. Communication with the seller was very easy and quick, and while the tracking was a little bit delayed it all arrived perfectly and within a reasonable time. I had to sign for both packages which made me feel more secure about the whole purchase as well. Highly recommend!

I am a licensed cosmetologist of 39 years now and in all of the MANY salons I have visited, worked in, or have educated in, I have NEVER come across a salon chair as lovely as this one ! When delivered, the chair arrives in two separate boxes, however it is relatively straightforward on it's construction. Once assembled, I couldn't get over just how thick and plush the cushions of the seat were. The extra width of the seat provides ample room for clients needing more space to fit comfortably. The leather is butter soft and stitched together nicely. I purchased this chair to be used as a shampoo chair as my previous one wasn't tall enough and didn't quite fit my shampoo bowl and only reclined a small amount. So I needed a chair that reclined and had a hydraulic pump to raise and lower as needed. This chair almost lays flat when reclined! I can pump the chair up and recline the back and basically have my clients almost horizontal to the floor! This alleviates the issue of trying to rinse a clients neck when they aren't properly fitted to the the bowl and soaking their collars. Having the ability to position the clients as high or as reclined as needed also helps shorter clients or kids who struggled to reach the bowl and continue to slide down the old chair during the service. My only issue is as a right handed stylist, I stand behind the clients left side and the lever to tilt the back cushion down is on the right side, so I must cross over the client to reclined them or ask them to pull the lever themselves in order to recline back. This chair is really substantial looking and is not a petite little flower. It is a big beast of a salon chair and in my personal opinion worth every penny spent!

I looooove my new chair! My clients are super comfortable in it and it’s a significant upgrade from the chairs that come in the suite. The material is cushioned and durable after cleaning with disinfectant and barbicide. I will say don’t attempt this by yourself like I did because it is heavy. The instructions recommend two people. Just know you’ll need a hammer as well. The only thing I wish is that the head and footrest could move independently for my needs but for styling it’s great. The instructions were clear, easy to follow and it’s going strong!

Very fancy and sturdy plus easy to install. It was mailed in TWO boxes. Heaven forbid you want to return this chair because seller only gives you ONE Amazon return label. I posted pictures of the chair and me in comparison. This chair is only 4” taller than the chair I’ve been using for 10 years. The back is so thick that any long haired clients k have to make stand up to cut their length. It was so tall for me that my shoulders hurt after every color and blow dry. I had to get a smaller chair. That being said: I was going to be charged by UPS $196 for the one box that this seller would not give me a return label for. So be committed to this sellers chairs before purchasing!!! Shipping took 14 days for box 1 and 16 days for box 2. Obviously I can’t return it so I have a very heavy, expensive chair that hurts me in two boxes unable to ship.

4/5 simply because I have not used it on any clients yet. I purchased this chair with the intent to use for both hair (locs) and facials. I needed something that was versatile and of good quality. I read the reviews and felt felt confident in my decision to purchase and in my abilities to build it myself. Some people said it was easy and took about 2hrs max. And they were right. Everything went smoothly alone until I got to the leg rest and then the cushion application. Those 2 segments required grip strength and weight to hold te cushion in place while you screw the bottom. I am about 5’8 and the person who helped was like 6’3 and both confirmed the seat in the upright position was comfortable. I didn’t try the recline with them. And for them to be comfortable I had to raise the headrest. All in all I’m quite happy with the purchase and hope it stands the rest of time with frequent use.

I just bought this chair to start my PMU & brow business from home. I was looking for something smaller scale than a traditional beauty bed. I have to say that it’s a great chair and even the quality is pretty good. The recline on the chair is perfect for what I need and a very comfortable chair at that. It is a bit heavy to carry alone, you will need help to move it around if needed. Keep in mind that you want to keep this chair in one location and not have to move it around because alone it is heavy. Building the chair was easy for me and did not come across any issues. I did need help putting the heavier pieces together to screw certain areas in. There is one piece that came with the chair that was not properly made as the holes to screw on the chair were not aligned. I ended up not installing it and the chair is perfectly fine. I’ll give you guys an update once I begin to use it everyday.
