    • No more bending down to shift in and out of 4 wheel drive
I really like the extra couple of inches on the shifter knob, no more bending over and potentially eating the steering wheel when shift in and out of 4 wheel drive when I'm driving off road. Plan on about a hour for install. Hardest part is removing the center counsel.

I mean the title says it all really... This stick is way easier to get to and gets into 4x4 way easier than that oem stick. Get the b&m shifter and normal stick while your at it.

Had this been priced more reasonably I would have given it five stars, but like all off-road Jeep accessories, it cost about twice what it should have. Since Chrysler decided to put such a ridiculously short shift lever on the JK transfer case, I went ahead and bit the bullet. It's not too difficult to install, it took maybe an hour. Shifting is a bit stiff going from 2H to 4H, and 4H to N. I suspect that's due to the clearance on the aluminum billet part being machined pretty tight. Hopefully that will loosen up a little over time. Handle position is perfect. It comes with a B&M knob. I would have preferred to use the stock knob because it looks better, but the new knob screws on and the stock knob doesn't use threads at all. There might be a way to fill in the hole with epoxy and a nut, but I probably won't attempt that anytime soon. ... show more
