NP263XHD OEM Quality Transfer Case. Remanufactured Bulldog Tough by The Gear Shop! This is the NP1 unit that fits GM trucks 01-07 with 6.6 & 8.1L and Allison transmission. This unit comes with new upgraded, heavy duty aluminum rear case to eliminate the common "pump rub" issue. This unit has been remanufactured by The Gear Shop in the USA to exceed OEM standards. This product is covered against manufacturer defects for 18 months. This transfer case is being sold on an exchange basis. Product protection coverage does NOT begin until we have received your old transfer case as the core exchange. The Gear Shop pays for the core return with a supplied label to use. We are available to answer any questions about the core return process that you may have.

The rear half of my old case wore an external hole in it. Installed easily and customer support answered any questions I had. Very much appreciated the included gasket and prepaid shipping label for the core return. The unit has been working perfectly since installed.

    • seems like a good product so far, directions could be improved for best installation outcome
the directions could be updated a bit for completeness. they have many good things in the directions including the bright colored paper. the biggest thing that would have made my life easier would be removing the wire harness mounts before installation in to the truck.. there are 3 that need to be moved over by removing 3 1/2 shell bolts on the old case and then on the new case. it shifts smooth and the installation is easy on thse. ... show more

Got here Quick !!! Seems like a solid unit. Great customer service. I noticed a leak with my old transfer case Sunday morning" Duramax pump rub" . I did a little googling and it led me to this company. Crossed my fingers and ordered it Sunday night. The new transfer case was in my driveway when i got home from work Wednesday ( obviously shipping is different for each situation ) Im in NC . swapped it in my garage and I've put almost 1,000 miles on this unit. So far no complaints. checked on it several times. No leaks, no noise, shifts in and out of 4wd no problems. Very satisfied with this company. And For the money spent vs a rebuild, and down time, and ect. This, in my opinion was the way to go. Thanks guys ... show more

The only complaint I would have is the studs that hold the transfer case to the transmission had too much paint on them, making it difficult to thread the nuts onto them.
