    • Starting failing after 6 months
At first this product worked well and did not have any issues. After 6 months it started howling and you could feel a vibration in the gear shifter after 6 months. It has gotten so loud you can hear it over the music even when the music is turned up. The vibration has gotten worse and now there is a clunking noise. When I purchased this item it stated a 1 year warranty. After 9 months I tried reaching the supplier with no response. Now after a total of 14 months still no response and Amazon will not help. Maybe after this review I will have the issue resolved. A lot of money for the transfer case to only last 6 months before breakdown. ... show more

    • AVOID - Extremely poor quality
I bought this transfer case for my Mazda CX9 2010 AWD. The transfer case did not last long before noise and heat generation made it obvious there was an issue. My mechanic immediately diagnosed it with dark fluid and metal shavings in the transfer case. I am now left to find a new (quality) transfer case, I will buy direct from Mazda this time. I'm also out the labor cost I paid to have this transfer case installed by AAMCO transmissions. The seller does not seem willing to cover the labor cost despite their warranty guarantee. This is a very bad situation thanks I'm involved in now thanks to my misplaced trust in the seller's transfer case part. ... show more

    • Case worked for 2 months only
I have a CX9 overseas that I use 2 months per year. We installed the transfer case last July, drove the car about 2,000 miles, and parked it until June 2023. When I drove the car, I heard a noise coming out of the transfer case. I took the car to multiple mechanics and they all diagnosed a bad transfer case. So the case worked for 2 months! I am not sure if this specific one is a bad case or the whole batch is Bad. I just thought I'd share my experience. ... show more
