I have the MacBook Air 2020 model a2179. Very easy application. It did have a few light scratches out of the box. If you look at the case directly under a light, you can see a bunch of little scratches but under normal settings, it looks very chic and clean. Same goes for fingerprints, sometimes you can see them and sometimes you can’t depending on the lighting. Overall, I love it and think it’s a great price. The screen protector went on well. The touch pad protector is matte so you don’t even notice it’s there. The laptop opens completely normally, no restrictions. The case doesn’t snap to the laptop on the sides. It does look well fitted but if you pull open the laptop from the side, the case bends (but that’s the case with most cheap cases). Would recommend for basic scratch protection.

Ive ordered this a few times, theyve recently improved the design for this, making the bottom piece latch on a little bit differently, and i REALLY like the new design, its attaching a lot better, plus i like the keyboard cover that comes with it, and as a whole makes my laptop feel protected. Main reason i re-order these is because i have a habit of boredom popping it on and off and breaking it myself haha.

The media could not be loaded. Update 08/22. the left back bottom corner broke off. absolutely no reason for that have happen. there has been no rough handling in fact I rarely even move my MacBook off my desk. it is only been 4 ish months so for that reason I've bumped down to 3 stars Easy to install, came with screen protector, track pad protector and the top and bottom case. The case itself is crystal clear but time will tell If yellowing is going to be an issue. The sturdiness feels good, it doesn’t appear to be flimsy at all. I am not generally “hard” on my MacBook so this is really all I need. If I was rough or my job or kids were a concern I would likely go for something a bit more. At this price point I think this case is a great buy. If there are any unreasonable changes I will update.
