I bought this AZZUNO 2-gallon compressor specifically to power pneumatic effects for my Halloween props—think animated skeletons, coffin lids that creak open, and the occasional surprise burst of fog. So far in tests getting ready for the season, it’s been an undead dream. Setup was painless: just screw on the rubber feet and air filter, plug it in, and you’re good to go. The thing is absurdly quiet—I can have it running behind a wall panel or in the garage and "guests" won’t even hear it over ambient sound effects. Huge win. Pressure-wise, it fills up quickly and tops out around 116 PSI, which is more than enough (perhaps too much) for the valves and cylinders I’m using. That said, as others mentioned, there’s no built-in pressure regulator, which is odd and mildly annoying. Not a dealbreaker, but plan to spend an extra $10–$20 on a decent inline regulator if your props (or tools) need lower PSI. It’s compact, easy to carry, and doesn’t rattle your skull when it kicks on. If you’re into home DIY, airbrushing, or spooky seasonal setups like me, it’s a solid pick. Just keep in mind that it’s made for finesse, not framing houses. Bottom line: it’s quiet, reliable, and just creepy enough to be part of my haunted setup. Highly recommend for Halloween hobbyists... once you've added a regulator, that is.

Attach the muffler and some feet, and you are ready to use. This compressor seems high quality and is as quiet as claimed. I have been using it for airbrushing, and it is so nice to have the compressor kick on and not bother you with noise. The weight is easy to manage as well so it is easy to move around

I was pleasantly surprised by the AZZUNO 2-gallon compressor. The noise level is significantly lower than my old compressor – a huge plus! It works well for inflating tires and powering my nail gun for small woodworking projects. The build quality feels solid and the design is compact and easy to carry. Filling speed is decent for its size; it takes a few minutes to reach full pressure, but it maintains it well. I would recommend it for light to medium-duty tasks where noise is a concern.

I ordered this 2 gallon compressor from AZZUNO to augment my ancient (and LOUD) 6 gallon pancake compressor for small jobs. It's a small and modern compressor with a powerful 2/3HP motor, active cooling and noise suppression. It doesn't have as much capacity as my old 6 gallon but it's smaller (and heavier!), a lot quieter, and it fills a lot faster. It also doesn't have any means of adjusting pressure. Although the manual talks about adjusting pressure by turning the knob it's clearly talking about some other model - this unit has nothing but an on/off switch and is designed to fill the tank to 116 PSI and maintain that pressure. Aside from an air blower, ALL of my air tools require much lower pressures and that means I can't actually use the compressor until I add a regulator. After I add a regulator it will come in handy in my shop, but at $130 (current price on Amazon) it's only a little less expensive than competing 6 gallon pancake compressors (with regulators) from better known brands. Buyer beware.
