I have had a permanent vertical split on my left pointer finger for over 40 years. I visited a Dr. that specialized in hand issues, and he told me it was a permanent split, and suggested I use crazy glue to keep it together (no kidding). It caught on everything all the time. Years ago, I solved that problem by getting acrylic nail manicures. Then the pandemic hit, and that ended going for manicures. When the acrylic finally grew out (or popped off), my natural nails were completely destroyed. I began using gel polish which didn't bring my nails to health, nor did it fix my vertical nail split, but that looked good (for a while). About 3 months ago, I was finally totally disgusted with my nails. They were dry, peeling and weak. I decided to make a real effort to bring them to health. I did a lot of research, and bought several products (all recommended products were available on Amazon). I spend the last 3+ months bringing my natural nails back to health. Every nail recovered, they are healthy, strong and none are peeling. However, the one left pointer finger still has the permanent split. I did more research, and that led me to AzureBeauty Nail Repair. I used it today for the first time. The included directions are simple and clear. I did not apply the gel/powder to my entire nail, but only to the part that is split (from the cuticle to the tip). Although a nail file is included, I have a small nail drill/file (also bought on Amazon) and used that instead throughout the pocess. Well....YAYYYYYYY!!!!! This is a pretty basic nail repair kit. You paint the "glue" on, and then dip your nail into the powder. I recently took off my gel nails and ended up with a couple nails "splitting". The entire process from start to finish took 5 minutes! The glue dries quickly, and it is easy to file and smooth after it dries. It kept my nails from splitting further and ripping down to the cuticle. I do recommend this product. I deducted a star for packaging. This is the first time I've used a product like this. Several weeks ago, I found a nail strengthener that has helped me grow my nails long for the first time in a very long time. Still, one began to split. I found this product and it's incredible ! I started with just the one nail that needed repaired and quickly realized that with the thin layer you can create, it would be a good way to protect all of my nails. Just be sure to buff them before applying any polish for a smooth finish. My nails are now longer than they've been in my entire life and I'm 60 years old. This product also looks completely natural with just a clear polish. Truly a game changer. I find after about 2-3 weeks, I need to redo them. I soak them off with acetone with no noticeable damage to my natural nails - which was not the case when I did acrylic nails regularly in the 90s through 2010s. Great product ! ... show more

Absolutely amazing. I started to grow my nails natural again after years of gel, and realizing just how much my nails have weakened. There are still some spots where they break and are a little weaker. I had a pretty bad break and temporarily used nail glue and cotton, but it wasn’t strong enough. I decided to purchase this and I am amazed! It’s held up well despite me smacking my hands everywhere. Seriously, such a savior because I didn’t want to trim all my nails down to match the broken one. Now, it’s like it’s not even broken. So happy with this purchase!     • Great for Stabilizing a Partially Lifted Nail

I accidentally caught my nail and about one-third of it lifted off. I did some quick first aid, but I needed something to properly stabilize the nail, so I decided to purchase this kit. The packaging was simple, but the instructions were clear and easy to understand. After cleaning the nail, I applied the glue and dipped my finger into the powder, which created a solid and secure hold. Because the damaged area was large, I applied it twice. The powder hardens quickly once it touches the glue, and the adhesion is strong, making it easy to file and shape afterward. For severe damage like mine, I recommend removing everything every 2–3 days and reapplying from a clean base. Thanks to the strong reinforcement and secure adhesion, I was able to prevent the nail from completely tearing off. To remove the product, using a gel nail remover works very well and comes off cleanly. ... show more

I just received this and have only used it a couple times so am just doing 3 stars. I think it will be fine but the one thing I was very disappointed in was that each item came loose in the little bubble wrap bag. No box or product packaging. Not easy to sit on a shelf in my bathroom. I was going to return but decided to just put a clip on the bubble wrap bag and keep it. It was inexpensive and the product was easy to use, but just awkward to not be in proper packaging. ... show more

I love this stuff! loses one star because its not a permanent fix i have to reapply like once a week but worked well even made myself a new side of my nail after half of it snapped off and I couldn't find it
