Day one review; Package arrived overly packed with paper to ensure the bottle didn't break. I applied to clean nails, the smell wasn't any worse than regular nailpolish and dissipated quickly. Dry time was around 2 minutes, quickly dried and is clear/glossy. Once dried, polish has a strangely pleasant fruity/antiseptic smell which I would assume would go away with hand washing/use. With this first application I do already notice some strength/hardness, just as regular polish would give the same support. Will update once progress is shown, photo uploaded today is first application on severely damaged nails. 5 days update; the smell does go away rather quickly with regular handwashing or shower. I DO notice some extra strength in my nails, day one I couldn't open the box without my nails bending. I did second application a couple days earlier than the directions suggested (this is the day I have to do my nails) upon opening the box this time, my nails didn't bend. I had no significant chipping or peeling of the polish. I only applied one coat, as suggested on the directions. I will update again next week! *TWO WEEK UPDATE* I LOVE this stuff. Seriously! My nails were VERY brittle, week and damaged after gel use. SO thin they were cracking! Today I was able to shape my nails (ever so slightly) I have been following the box directions, removing the day-two second coat, with non acetone nail polish remover, and reapplying after washing and drying my nails, and removing cuticle build up. My nails are still weaker than they should be (gel damage was pretty severe) but they aren't nearly as bad as they were in two weeks time. My nails do grow pretty quickly as I do take vitamins and supplements, BUT the cloudy spots are slowly disappearing, and my nails FEEL good with this polish on. My hands are submerged in water for about 5 hours a day, I am VERY rough on my hands and I have no issues with chipping or peeling.. UNLESS my cuticle gets painted. So nail prep, follow the box directions (one coat does a LOT) and you'll be on your happy way to stronger, healthier looking AND feeling nails. (Second photo is two weeks update)

I’ve been getting my nails done at a salon for over 10 years. After getting let go from my job, my nails were in pain due to taking my nails off. This stuff is amazing!! My nails have always had a difficult time growing out, and now they are healthy and strong. I’m so happy to have found this product. I was desperate to fix my nails. After years of beautiful nails, menopause happened. Within a year my nails went from lovely to extremely fragile, peeling & splitting 😰. Seriously, if my nails were made of paper, they would have been more resilient. From January ‘24- May ‘25 I tried OPI Nail Envy, OIrly Calcium Shield and countless reputable products. Absolutely nothing worked. I’d just about given up when I came across this product. I ordered out of desperation & I’ve used it for a week now, applying it every night as directed. It seems to have worked!!! No peeling, no splitting, no more “weaker than paper” nails 😦! I was out in the garden today- yes, I wore gloves, but when I took them off I could hardly believe it…my nails were totally intact. This maybe Ponce de Leon’s Fountain of Youth for nails. I’m so grateful & highly recommend this product- 5⭐️! UPDATE- finished Week 2 & going on Week 3… Recently, I have been doing heavy gardening work, wearing gloves of course. I’m continuing to use the product as directed. My nails are doing GREAT! I have had some splitting (probably due to the abuse from garden work), but NO PEELING… it has literally been a 1 & 1/2 years of peeling, fragile nails & this product seems to have stopped it. I’m amazed 🤩. Will continue to update… UPDATE #2 6/18/25- I continue to use First Aid Kiss and my nails have continued to improve. I am still growing out the pre-First Aid Kiss fragile nails, but I am able to actually GROW them out a bit w/o them splitting & peeling away. I’m thrilled with the results of this product. I’ve been using this for months and will continue using. I’ve always painted my nails at home but noticed that my nails were becoming short and brittle, plus my nail polish would chip off after one or two days. I decided to quit painting them altogether but I wanted to try to grow them longer. I’d heard that this was a pretty clean brand so I tried it. After about a month my nails were harder and growing. They’ve continued that way for months now! My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars is that the polish does chip pretty easily, so every few days I’m putting more on, at least on the end of my nails. In the picture: my thumb nail did break today and I haven’t filed it yet, but the rest are done with this on them. My nails will occasionally break when they get super long, but it’s still a huge improvement from what they were months ago. They used to be super short and break all the time. If you have short or brittle nails, definitely give this a try!

Finally!!! I bought this after my neighbor recommended it who I trust and applied it at the beginning of May and it is now May 24th. I have had no chipping whatsoever, zero, none, nada! To say I'm impressed is an understatement. Ignore my somewhat filthy nails at the moment as I seriously need another manicure but I wanted to show you it's even made my color last this long!!! There's no clear top coat of any kind on top of my color, which is a pinkish-purple sheer. I put one coat of the nail strengthener on as a base coat and I put one coat of my color. Thats it! It has literally lasted me this long (roughly 24 days) and is not damaged in any way. Let me tell you about me. I am not a diva, I'm a country girl: a serious gardener who digs in the dirt for hours, I do dishes, I do housework, I am seriously rough on my nails and hands, let me tell you. The fact that this held up for nearly 3 weeks and STILL going strong? I am sold for life on this product! I really want to hold off on doing another manicure just to see exactly how long it actually lasts before chipping, but not sure I can, lol. If I get too busy and another week passes and it holds up I will update this review. Bottom line... for the price there is zero reason not to try this. Believe me, you will not regret it. Well worth every penny and even if it were $30 I'd buy it.

I purchased this item because it seemed a fairly non toxic way do something nice for my nails. Be warned it does have a fairly potent smell. It has a lovely natural finish that gives a bit of shine which is great if you don't like to wear colorful polish. I have strong nails that don't easily chip or break and they grow quickly... since I have started to use this product my nails have started to split at the ends. This may be something that's unique to me but wanted to share in case it helps other people. I've since quit use.

This stuff does wonders for your nails. I have worn gel polish for years and my nails looked really dry and were so thin. I have used this now consistently for a couple weeks and already see a difference. I'm going to do my own nails now and planning to pick up the ella+mila gel system to keep my nails healthy.
