Considering I trade rent for cooking and cleaning, my hands are in and out of hot water all day, which has contributed to the demise of my nails. I tried nail strengthening creams which seemed to work initially but then stopped. In desperation I gave this a try and within 2 weeks saw a drastic improvement. I realize now, what makes this so great is the coating over my nails is what protects them from the damage of so much soapy water. Now they are much healthier and stronger, and I love the shiny gloss which also makes them look so much better. This is a keeper for sure, and if you have weak nails which are prone to splitting and breaking, give this a try. So much more economical than those expensive creams, and sure to last a long time.

I pretty much exclusively wear press ons (glued) and swap them probably once a week when I get bored of them and they mostly naturally pop off. But there’s never no damage. While waiting for my next haul of nails to come in I thought I’d *try* to give my nails a rest. First photo was before. Then 1 coat, then 2 coats. They looked fairly smooth! I attempted to paint over it to try to feel less naked with nothing on my nails but the chipped polish on day 2 was driving me mad and I took it all off. The final “after” photo is what my bare nails look like after only having this strengthener/filler in for two days! Significant improvement, if you ask me! Still itching to get some nails back on but they look much less offensive now! I did some research on the ingredients: Retinol, a strong resurfacing treatment for skin, acts similarly as a rebuilder for nails, promoting cell turn over (as it does for our skin) but also a conditioner for the nail beds and cuticles (you can see my cuticles look much better as well!) For the nylon - this is used for ridge filling by creating what is essentially a molecular mesh. The molecules are large enough they float on top of the nail beds rather than being absorbed, but giving the nail a smooth finish. Both are safe and not uncommon. It just sounds weird!

I am a house cleaner and I wear gloves and my hands are damp all day and my nails really suffer from it. They are brittle, bendy, and they peal too easily. I have tried many nail strengthening polishes but this one is my favorite! It actually helps!! It goes on thick and dries fast and doesn't chip as easily as all the other ones I've tried. And my nails actually feel stronger. I am amazed! And it was such a great price! I like to use it as a base coat before I wear nail polish too and it really protects my nails. I love this stuff!!

My Experience I started using this nail strengthener when my nails were peeling and breaking easily. I applied it on bare nails and occasionally under polish. It goes on smoothly, dries fairly quickly, and leaves a natural, slightly glossy finish that looks clean even without color. After a couple of weeks of consistent use, my nails felt less flimsy and were breaking less often, especially at the tips. This nail polish is amazing! I’ve used it both in the summer and winter over my natural nail, and it’s helped me naturally grow my nails out really long! They lasted for like 5 or 4 months too! I would redo them every week or two, but that’s just me. You could also use this as a protector below your normal nail polish, it really does help! I know some people who have gotten yellowish nails without a base coat, and this is always my go to for the first coat to prevent that. It dries at a normal time, I wait 15 minutes to be safe. I would definitely recommend!

No instructions came with this product. With a change in medication and vitamins my fingernails have tended to break just doing normal household tasks. I put on a layer twice a week as the coating does wear off working in the garden and outside tasks. But the 3 nails that would split have finally grown so they don't split using it this way. I don't know what other people do but in 3 months I haven't used half the bottle. And I don't ever remove it - just keep adding layers. Takes a few minutes to dry.

I really liked this product. I am someone who does press on nails all the time so sometimes my nails feel brittle after removal of the press ons.
