Okayyy , so I’ve been a nail biter since 6-7 years old and I’m 27 now. I just recently decided I’m DONE with acrylics and gel polish & I’ll only use regular nail polish. Over 10 years of using acrylics my nails would bend back, peel, and were so brittle. I’ve been using this cream faithfully for 2 weeks so far and these are my results. The red is 2 weeks prior to this post. And my nails without nail polish is after 2 weeks. My nails and cuticles are always hydrated now and look super healthy. Besides looking super healthy they feel healthy, my nails still bend but nothing like it was before and I don’t experience anymore chipping or peeling. I love the smell of coconut it’s not over powering to me and I love that after you use the cream it absorbs and isn’t greasy at all. I personally am choosing not to use nail polish moving forward to keep them completely natural. This stuff is magiccccc ! I can’t wait to see how my nails will look a couple weeks from now!

So I've had issues with picking and trimming my cuticles for years. It has gotten way better that I don't do that anymore. However because they are dry it's still temping and I will play with them. I have tried so many different cuticle oils, lotions, exfoliates and they have only worked so well. I had heard of Hard as Hoofs but was like let me finish up some of these other oils first. However I've had amazing luck saving money using Olive and June press on nails as a way to keep my nails from breaking, so I wanted to try this as the next step. Why did I wait so long? My dry cuticles are gone! I can miss a day or two and the cuticles are still soft. I even use it on my toe cuticles. Never going back to anything else. I'm glad they had other scents besides coconut because I don't like coconut. The Cherry almond is nice.

This stuff really works. To say my nails are horrific is an understatement. They are brittle, break vertically, tear, and completely damaged. I have tried so many different products, but Onyx Hard as Hoofs actually works. I’m pleased with the results and it smells amazing. (I have the island coconut scent) Given how horrible my nails are, I don’t just use it once a day. Anytime I wash my hands or have them in water, I reapply. It seems to be doing the trick.

I used these one time on all 10 fingers. Right after a shower and right before bed. I didn't have my glasses on, so I didn't read the instructions. I just applied them semi-blinded. Make sure to peel the blue piece after applying. I realized in the morning when there was more light and the blue was coming off and revealing the yellow that I needed to finish the last step and remove the top blue piece. I left them on for 3 days, avoiding any washing dishes or getting them wet, since they cost money. I noticed my nails starting to heal and grow. I had nervous tick of picking my nails versus clipping them. I would buy again, but I still have many left for future if needed. It helped curb picking or biting my nails. I'm using a top coat now which also helps.

Long story... My background, I have autoimmune thyroid disease and I'm in menopause. I've never been a nail biter and haven't had acrylics or gel in almost 20 years. My nails barely grow on their own. Even when they're painfully short, any and every bump to my fingers would cause them to split and peel. I've tried EVERYTHING. All the protein polishes, supplements, creams, etc. I had very little to no hope for this product. I ordered this on March 10th and have been using it twice a day since. I still have about half of it left. It doesn't take much. It took some time (about 3 months) for my old, weak nails to grow out. I just kept them short. After about a week, I could visibly see the healthy new growth and I was excited. My nails now actually grow, are stronger, and look healthy. If I bump a nail on something, I might get a little knick that can easily be filed away. But no more splitting and peeling. I can't believe I'm actually writing a review for a nail product that does what it promises. I know a lot of people mention the scent. It's lovely. Not that I care. It could smell like a fart. I would just keep my hands away from my face until it wears off. This stuff is amazing and I will throw the most epic tantrum of they ever stop making this or change the formula. The end.

Been trying to grow my natural nails out for a while and I have finally accomplished that. My nails grow fairly quickly but my problem is they start chipping or cracking at the tips which eventually leads me to cut them all down so they can be even lengths. Have been using this stuff for over a month now and not a single occurrence! I use my hands a lot to work(washing dishes, laundry, house cleaning, cooking, typing etc. and don’t wear gloves btw. ) they first week I was using it 3 times a day but honestly after that maybe once a day before bedtime. Lately I’ve been forgetting to use it a lot but will try to be more consistent as I definitely like how my nails are growing with this stuff. 😊

I think this stuff is magic. I had a manicure and my nails were filed way too thin and they’re actually painful. That’s how thin they are. I bought this product and I definitely see a difference in my nails even within two days of using the product. I do use the product multiple times a day. I’ve become a little addicted to it. It has a nice smell and it goes on nice and smoothly I definitely recommend this for anybody who has thin nails or nail damage. This is definitely a game change.

I had a crack at the end of my nail and had it for over 2 years, every time I thought I had it healed, it would crack again. I felt it was just a matter of time before I would have caught it on fabric or something similar and rip my nail off. not knowing what to do to help it heal, I did a google search and found this product on April 20, 2025, I started noticing that it may be working a couple of weeks after using it. Now after two months, I can confidently say that this product worked and my nail has grown out with no split, it has completely grown out and no longer a threat of catching on something.
