So far so good. Itâs easy to use. Tha hardest thing was the cuticle work honestly. TIP: clean your brush off after each application AND apply thin layers of base. This is my first set. I will update after about a week or so to see how it wears.

Bought this (while it was cheaper in price~) because of the variety of colors. The colors are pretty much true to what they show here on Amazon. Just slight duller. It is tricky doing your nails, especially if you have nail tips on to dip them in. I use a test tube dropper (plastic ones 3ml on Amazon) to get the powder on my nails. Have used all the colors by now (took 3 months to do so) and Iâm happy with all of them except for the hot/cold color changing ones. For those you must have some sort of nail length in order to get the full effect of the color changing onto your nails. The powder itself was kind of lumpy when your dipping. So had to really file it down for it to get smooth. Also, letâs say youâre washing your hands, or knocks your hand around something cold, it does change color but looks funky. No fault of the dip powder formula just how it is when it touches something of a different temperature. Overall I did not care for the color changing one as it looks pretty in theory, but day to day tasks of doing things (hand washing, going in the sun, opening the freezer, etc) makes it look funky. The glitters are amazing. Itâs like a medium grit so not super fine. The glow in the dark colors are amazing! It really does glow brightly at night and doesnât fade away fast. Do have to do about 3 coats so itâs visible on your nails during the day. Overall Iâm very happy with the variety for the price :)

This is a great dip powder kit! If you've never used dip before, please don't give this a bad rating... you just don't know how to use it Lol. I've been doing my own nails for some time and even in this rush job I did in the picture, the powder worked just fine. The colors are EXACTLY as shown. You get various shades depending on the number of dip coats you apply. Here are some tips for FIRST TIME USERS: 1. Do NOT apply step one (the base coat) to your cuticles or on the skin surrounding the nail... ONLY your nail bed! Essentially anywhere the base coat is applied, the dip powder will be too. If you want a clean look, just apply to your nail bed right below your cuticle to the tip of your nail. 2. Brush off ANY excess BEFORE applying step 3 (activator).

I absolutely love this product. I did have to make an additional purchase of the dip powder liquid set and a few other small items to do full manicure sets vs natural sets. Overall it is an excellent value for the money and fun to do at home. I have purchased other dip powders with nowhere near as good of a result. This is marketed as a "holiday" color set but I love the colors for every day. I use full coverage acrylic nails vs tips because I am just a beginner and hobbyist with nails and I have found that they offer a much smoother application combined with this dip powder and liquid set. I use a very basic drill file also. There is a bit of a learning curve but the instructions are simple and clear, the products are on point and there are so many helpful tips and tricks on YouTube these days you will be a pro in no time!

For context, I have been getting my nails done using dip for years, I'm not new to it and I've even dabbled with doing it myself at home during the pandemic. Needless to say, I'm not new to the dip system. When I first started using this kit, I did 4 layers and it seemed to work fine. Colors are good, and it was easy enough to put on. The only drawback at first was that it didn't last as long as the salon. When I went to take it off, it came off literally like glue. It takes FOREVER to take this stuff off your nail. When I put it on the next time, I did 3 layers... boy oh boy was that a mistake. nails chipped over and over again. One day I would get 3 chipped nails, I would fix the nails one night, and the next day I would get three more chipped nails and have to fix them again! It was very frustrating and NOT the reason I wanted to stop going to the salon! I ended up getting a Kiara Sky kit and am now adjusting to that consistency. tldr; I would ONLY order this kit if you are new to dipping and want to see if it's for you, or want to learn techniques before jumping to a better more expensive brand!

Perfection, quick and easy. I didnât buy this for a set of nails I bought it to overlay 2 nails that split all the time. I dipped them in the powder and now theyâre solid. No lumps. Smooth. Very little filing.

Beautiful colors. I did some swatches on the lid because I couldn't tell which color was which. My favorite is the pink with gold glitter and the dark turquoise glitter. Online it looks more green to me, but in person it looks more turquoise. I am also a fan ofthedeep burgundy and Hunter green colors. The burgundy has some sparkle in the loose powder, but it didn't come through at all when I used the product. The blue glitter looks more like silver glitter with a few flecks of blue thrown in. The gold glitter is wonderful as well as the red glitter. My pictures don't do the glitter, shimmer and shine justice. The grey looks a bit like green-grey, I'm really looking for a very light grey with blue undertones. The silver glitter is pretty. My least favorite is the plain pink, not because there is anything wrong with it, I just haveso many otherpinks and nothing stands out about this one. As far as usage, the bottles are small and filled to the brim, so it would be hard to use without abunch of spillage. I will probably get a shot glass to dedicate for these to reduce spillage. Dump the powder in there and then dip in the shot glass, then pour carefully back into the storage container. As far as quality, I haven't used them on my nails yet, so I do not know yet. No clue how long they last. Edit:. Just did my first try with this dip powder. The pinky isthedark turquoise glitter by itself. All othernails are 2 coats of the hunter green, then a coat of base with the dark turquoise glitter sprinkled lightly on, not dipped. The dark glitter is definitely moreblue than green.
