The hardest part about this application was soaking off my salon acrylic nails. Once my nails were prepped, the instructions were easy to follow and the process was seamless. The powder came sealed, which eased my mind about contamination. The bottles are small, but I’m okay with buying extra considering the overall cost of this kit. I recommend using the swatches beforehand to get a good idea of the final color. The extra brushes came in handy because the brush started to dry while applying the top coat. My natural nails are very thin and weak, and I was surprised that 3 coats of dip powder gave my nails the strength of an acrylic set. I’m so excited about this purchase and saving $65 by doing my own nails. Looking forward to buying more colors!!!

I just got my kit and used it for the first time. I can’t wait to see all the beautiful colors. It was kind of a guessing game because you get so many what to try first. I’m sure there is somewhere on their website you can look up what numbers go to each color. This is an amazing “trial set”. I could probably get 50 uses out of the dipping powders if I like all of them. The only I need to re-order are the basecoat activator and topcoat. I can probably only get three sets out of what they sent. But as I said, I just paid for the kit with one use!

I gave this two chances and so wanted to like this so I could do it at home. I followed all the instructions and I’m no stranger to getting my nails done. The first time I did 3 coats. The next day they were already chipping. The second time I tried 2 coats to see if that made a difference. Same thing. It’s not worth all the effort. I have regular nail polish that lasts longer than this. Back to the salon I go.

I bought this as my first set when exploring dip powders. It came with everything you need which was great. I bought nail tips and nail glue separately so that I could extend my nails. The powders are fine and easy to use. I suggest using the nail swatches to test out the colors as they all look different after you’ve applied them. I change my dip powders once a week due to personal preference and never had an issue with my nails chipping. The dip easily came off when soaking in acetone. After about a month and a half, the base coat felt like it was drying out (despite there being enough product) and it was causing streaks in my dip powder application. I could easily fix this by just getting more liquids. I encourage anyone trying dip powders to get this kit!

This was so easy. Still takes the same amount of time to apply as gel polish does for me but much easier and less sticky. I applied 3 coats of shade 202 and it’s beautiful. Smooth application. However, be careful using the file it comes with after because leaves little black dots that are very hard to get off the nail after applying the activator. Will update review after I see how long they last!

I recently bought this dip powder because I wanted to save a few dollars and I can honestly say I'm no expert in dip powders however this product was easy to use. I use my hands a lot and very rough with them. I would recommend this product over the gel/uv kit because my nails haven't chipped within the first few days after applying the product and lasts close to 2 weeks. Pros: Last longer, easy to use, fast dry time Cons: Not as shinny as a gel set
