It works. It is slow as molasses, the video stutters during streaming on Amazon(1gb business internet with 1 gb wifi router), and crashed installing updates during initialization of the OS. BUT! It works exactly as I expected. I did not buy it thinking you could do normal computing on it, I bought it to put into my go bag along with a 4TB ssd, along with an adapter built to work off 12v sources(automotive power socket with clamps) It plays movies from files just fine. Screen viewing is fine looking(for it's DPI) It does not shake or rattle, feels good and is lightweight. Like I said, this is definitely a daily driver, but for that "everything has fallen apart" day, it is perfect. It replaced a Surface pro 3(win 10) that cannot update, and it works as well as the Pro did at the end of it's usefullness. As a note, it has been dual booted with Kali so I can get wifi from anywhere if needed.

I TOTALLY REGRET BUYING THIS!!! I'm well out of the window for returning it. It's awful. I'm so glad I kept my old laptop as a back-up. I have so much homework to do. My old laptop is simply out of storage space, so I needed a new one for doing homework. Well this one, WON'T EVEN CONNECT TO THE INTERNET!!! Literally, it takes ages to get connected if I ever do! Not to mention the keypad is NOT STANDARD. The power button is where the delete button should be, so by habit I'm always accidently turning the computer off!!! Do yourself a favor, the price is nice, but spend the extra for a better model. Oh, by the way, the reason I KNOW it's the laptop that has the problem is because I'm typing this up on my old laptop WHICH IS CONNECTED TO THE WI-FI. It had no problem connecting, matter of fact it stays connected. Just like my tablet does, but not this laptop I'm reviewing. And when you try to connect, not only will it take it's time, SOMETIMES THE ACTUAL WI-FI ICON ISN'T EVEN SHOWING UP!!!

its good value for a compact basic win 11 (now win 100 being retired) laptop - but it is really slow and has limited performance with just a N4040C chip. useful for garage or site work to connect to microcontrollers or components or arduino, etc. - but for browsing, email etc it would test one's patience. note: no usb-c port - description is a bit misleading there.

Look, I saw all the reviews. Saying it was slow. But I thought to myself, all I want it for is to be able to do a Google search. Check an email. Maybe hook up a printer and print a document. But you can't do any of these things. If you click anything, you'll be waiting. Open a web browser and wait a few minutes for the Google page to load. They try to type anything and wait again. Hit the search button and wait 3 to 5 minutes. This is not an exaggeration. With computers in the palm of our hands by way of a cell phone, why does this exist? What purpose would a computer serve that is this slow? My wife says "you get what you paid for". Because it was only a hundred thirty some odd dollars. But I would expect in 2025 that any computer could do basic internet browsing. I don't know what happened by the way, but I've had it a couple of months and the speaker is broken. Even though the laptop has never left my coffee table. It's never gotten wet or anything. But any time a noise or sound is supposed to be played, it just makes this god awful hissing and crackling noise. I did try to hook up a printer but after like 10 minutes of trying to download the software I gave up. This thing is absolute garbage and not with a penny. I hate doing these bad reviews. I really do. 8 wasn't 3ven going to do a review until the speakers decided to kick out. But that was the last straw.

Good if you need to type up work but sucks staying connected to the internet and is very slow. I would not recommend to get this laptop if you are looking to use it for school or work.

Great little computer for home and school use. Not a lot of storage space so not the best if you want to download a bunch of games or videos. It is perfect for what I need. Would suggest adding a keyboard and mouse for ease of use for extended typing and browsing.
