Anyone thinking this product is capable of welding - should forget about it. The unit is exactly what it says right on it - "MANUAL SOLDERING GUN"... If you look closely at the last picture where actual welding is being done - you can easily see it is a completely different and appropriate tip which leads you to believe it's included and interchangeable with the soldering tip and wire feed. What this amounts to is a blatant misrepresentation of the product - and the capabilities. As to soldering - the device is intended to allow for one hand operation instead having to use one hand for the solder and the other for the "gun" but the constant need to trigger the wire forward - doesn't allow for precise application in any targeted application. There is definitely nothing "laser" about this - it's just a reconfigured soldering gun - and nothing more. I've recommended to Amazon that they either get the supplier/manufacturer to advertise the limited capabilities and not falsely give users misleading information of the capabilities - or remove this and all units just like it from Amazon completely.... Amazon has already immediately issued me a refund and said not to even bother with returning it.....

"Internally Heated Industrial Laser Welding Tools,Laser Welding Machine For Metal" from the product title/description. It does not have a laser that I saw. I believe it's a resistance heat, ceramic core handheld soldering gun with a fairly novel spool and feed setup. So it comes with a little spool of flux core solder and -0- directions. Not even pictograms. I'm fairly handy and like a puzzle, so I assembled the spool onto the back of the gun after mounting it holder to the gun. Then I fed the supplied solder into the gun and pulled the trigger. I could feel it grabbing the solder and pulling it into the gun. I pulled and pulled and pulled and wait! Eventually I stopped pulling and started wondering where the solder was going! It did a bird's nest inside the body of the gun. It had failed to automatically feed through the nozzle part toward the soldering tip, so I took out the screws holding the body together and found the solder in a big tangle inside. After clearing that I had to remove the nozzle as the thin solder would not feed through it while it was assembled. On trying to reassemble the gun I found two extra parts I have no idea where they go -- a small rocker lever in orange plastic and a compression spring (looks just like one off of a pen.) I could not get all of the parts to align and was unable to close up the body of the gun properly. With it partly closed the trigger would push the solder toward the tip through the nozzle but I was unable to get the nozzle re-aimed well toward the tip. This is a wash: it needs some engineering re-thought and re-design. Would have been nice if it used a laser to melt the solder! The ad copy is referencing a (fairly) new actual welding technology that uses lasers to remove rust and join metals through melting processes. This is not it. It did have a 55" cord. It has a dim red light to show it's switched on.

Welder my behind its nothing more than a soldering gun I always thought that welds were different from soldering and welds bond two medal pieces together where soldering is for electronics

The soldering iron automatically extrudes the solder into the iron and is very very handy for a one-handed jobs. Very very nice holds up very well and can't wait to use it again. Definitely 4.7 stars

This is not a welder as listed five times in the description, it is a solder gun as stated on the box when you receive it. This is very deceptive.

This tool has a unique design that incorporates an automatic feed feature, which makes it really easy to work with. It's not something you usually see in compact electric welders, and while the concept might seem unusual at first, it actually performs well once you get the hang of it. It’s ideal for light-duty projects or repetitive tasks where consistency matters. The biggest limitation for me is the lack of temperature control. You don’t have the ability to fine-tune heat output, which makes it a little tricky when working with components of varying size or material. If you're using it on the same type of connection or material repeatedly, though, it gets the job done. In terms of comfort, it's surprisingly ergonomic. The shape and balance are good, and the build quality is decent—definitely in the hobby tool category, but not flimsy or poorly made. Another positive thing to note is that you could actually use it one-handed rather than needing two hands like in traditional welding scenarios. For occasional use or small bench work, it's a solid addition to your tool lineup.
